We need wild animals running around all worlds, not just granite falls. It would be cool to see wild deer walking through the backyard and rabbits hopping away as soon as you go outside. Details are everything.
I miss having reptiles too. The hamster cage that's bugged beyond belief is not a good substitute for the caged ones we had in sims 3.
I think chicken coops would be a cute idea like someone else said especially with seasons can add depth. imagine seeing your little chicken coop next to a bunch or autumn leaves and sims coming out in their autumnal clothes to feed the chickens. and if they make little noises as well :o
and wild animals- ever since they made a fox template thing on cats and dogs I just want to be able to be able to hover over a skunk or deer (in granite falls) and not necessarily be able to interact with it but that would be cool too if we could :)
I said wild animals, because I love deer and the idea of squirrels running about, but I'd also like to see mythical animals if more supernatural elements are introduced. And as @Chazzzy said, birds! We have rodents now, so why not birds?
I'm fine with the cats and dogs actually. But from all this options, I would go with farm animals. Anyway, im not looking forward for a farm expansion. I don't mind if it's next cause a lot of people loves the idea, but I won't be buying it unless it surprises me a lot.

Anyway, the way I see it, a Sim Zoo is not completely out of the question.
