Admins; I didn't know where to put this as it is set in game but it is also a roleplay which means idk if it belongs in off topic or Legacies&Stories. Please move as you see appropriate!
Willow Valley High
Welcome to Willow Valley High School! Home of the Fighting Llamas! These are going to be the best days of your lives, spent with people you will remember forever. But how are you going to spend them?
So I don't know if anyone remembers the days of the Sims 3 Forums being littered with roleplays, and things getting crazy busy and out of hand with really off topic role plays! I miss the friends I made in the Sims 3 Roleplay community, but I also wanted to keep things centred around game. Hence, a sims 4 roleplay! For those of you who aren't familiar with roleplay, you can be who or whatever you want to be and tell a story within the community, making lots of friends along the way. There are some rules however!
Rules
1.This is set in the sims 4 world, meaning you can be or see anything from the game including vampires, etc. Please make sure your photo is of a sim, and every now and again if you'd like to include photos of your character in game be my guest! You can go a little off the game in terms of what they do, for example your sim could dream of being a dentist even though there is no dentist career.
2. You can have a maximum of 2 characters, just to make things fair and ensure one person isn't controlling everyone in game!
3. No mary sues. This means perfect characters, everyone has their flaws!
4. Don't god mod. This means controlling other peoples characters! If you want to play a teacher and there isn't a simmer assigned to your class to play the teacher, go ahead.
5. If you want to talk outside the game, use brackets ()
6. You can play a teacher if you wish, and include conversations with your character's family, etc.
7. As the creator of the roleplay, I have the power to call assemblies, etc.

Biography: Despite having her daughter, Kate, at 18, Leanne has really made a name for herself as a teacher. Recently promoted to head teacher, she has big plans for Willow Valley High. She wants to focus and fund more on the performing arts, and really believes in the abilities of her student. She is a single mother, and was able to go to college while her parents helped care for Kate. She knows who Kate's father is, but he wanted nothing to do with her once he found out that Leanne was pregnant. Together, she and Kate live in a cute little cottage in Willow Valley, and she is incredibly proud of her daughter no matter what she does. Leanne had a pleasant enough childhood and chose to be a drama teacher after enjoying it at school. She hasn't dated since Kate was born, and doesn't plan on doing so.

Biography: Kate is generally bubbly and artistic, incredibly passionate about her subjects. She sometimes finds having her mom at school a little weird and too close for comfort, but at other times she relies greatly on her mother's wisdom. She dreams of being an artist, and her own best friend is her dog Ernie since most people are afraid to talk to her with her mom being the principal. Sometimes she wonders about her dad, but having a single parent has never really bothered her since it's all she's ever known. Family is everything to Kate, with her being incredibly close to her maternal side of the family, but she sometimes struggles to talk to new people and can be a little shy. Shyness aside, once Kate really gets to know someone, she's giggly and vibrant.
Sexuality: Straight
Strengths: Incredible artist, observant, intellectual
Weaknesses: Shyness, clumsy (just like her mom) and she overthinks things sometimes
Age: 24
Traits: Bookworm, Perfectionist, Outgoing

Exciting! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
The first day of school is always a bummer; after a hot summer in Willow Valley, with long days and without a worry in the world, returning to a normal daily routine just seems so dreadful. Junior year is upon us, and there's nothing we can do about it.
Not that I mind a little bit of space from my family. After all, since I'm not exactly one for meeting many friends, most of the people I spent my summer with were relatives. Unless you count my dog ( but I class him as family, too!)
I walk towards my assigned locker, down the busy hallways, internally hating everyone who bumps into me or walks too slowly. The business of Willow Valley High is not to be missed.
"Good morning students!" Neither is that. The voice of my mom, the principal, booming through the speaker as she begins her second year in charge of my school.

"Welcome back to another year at Willow Valley High. Go fighting Llamas!" I spoke merrily into the overhead speaker. "I have a feeling that after last years amazing results, we have a chance to really push ourselves and do even better this year. Don't forget, there's a junior assembly 3rd Period; That's 12:05 and senior assembly is 5th period; 3pm. Make sure you attend, registers will be taken! Who's ready to hear all about this year's enrichment?" Looking through the office windows, I saw a few students roll their eyes. Boring old plums. Clicking the button to turn the speaker off, I picked up my coffee and sipped at it. It was 8:40 when I checked my watch, so staff briefing was due to start in 10 minutes. This year I was determined to ensure that our student's talents were not overlooked.
(going to go into 3rd person because this is getting confusing)
Kate smiled at her mom's peppy attitude. She knew how excited she was to announce some of her plans for the school, and she kind of felt sad for her mom when she remembered how not many of the students took Miss. Monroe seriously. She was kookie, and definitely over excited, but she was a kind principal. And a great mom. So Kate believed in her plans.
She sighed, looking in the mirror inside her locker. Everyone had dressed to impress with it being the first day, and she frowned at the sight of the freckles under her rubbed-away foundation. Kate didn't want to draw attention to herself, but the amount of fashionable girls in her school sometimes made her feel like she was drowning in ugliness. Some of them literally would have the longest hair, and make the effort to straighten or curl it every single day. Crazy.
Shutting the locker, Kate made her way towards first period English. The lesson only started in 20 minutes, and she was pretty sure her teacher would be at teacher briefing by now, but she was eager to finish a sketch she'd started the night before.
Leanne Monroe entered the staff room, pleased to see the chatter of teachers - both old and new - as she walked through the door. "Cup of tea, Miss Monroe?" Agatha, her secretary, was at the principal's side in seconds.
"I'd love one, Aggy. You really need to start calling me Leanne, you're not a student!" Miss Monroe laughed, shaking her head as the little lady toddled off to the small kitchen area through the crowds. Leanne mingled, saying hello to the various members of staff quite fondly.
With a coffee in one hand, Blair walked briskly towards the staff room, saying good morning to the few students straggling in the hallway. "Morning everyone!" Blair greeted as she entered the staff room. "Hope I'm not too late."
(I'd like to How does this format work?)
I feel the hearts beating
Leanne smiled as Miss. Valentine entered the staff room. Everyone had just been taking a seat before the briefing. "Glad you could join us Blair." she said sincerely, before coughing. The room was silent apart from the occasional murmur.
"So, firstly, ladies and gentlemen - I'd like to say welcome back. I hope you have enjoyed a long and well deserved summer break - the best part about teaching!" That earned a hearty laugh from some of the male teachers. "No, no, I'm sure we're all excited to be back. Last year's exam results were at an all time high, and it seems that Willow Valley could actually be making a name for itself. I noticed, however, that many of our highly talented students were rejected from artistic college courses, such as those of the arts. It was a difficult year for my drama students particularly, as the majority of their highschool years had been spent without enrichment." Leanne felt sad at the thought of some of their finest students being rejected for a lack of extracurricular credit - a problem stemming from the reign of the previous principal.
"Last year, we established several clubs. This year, I want more encouragement for the students to get involved! They need to have evidence of their passions to get into their university of choice, and time to relax away from their difficult studies doing the things they love. I hope each and every one of you considers mentoring a club this year while keeping up with the amazing teaching you've all been doing!" This earned a small round of applause from some of the more enthusiastic teachers.
"Sooo, I think my final announcement, aside from assuring all your students attend the welcome assemblies, is that of my own enrichment for the drama department! This year, we will be having our very own musical. My personal favourite of all time has been selected - Mama Mia! I want both teachers and students involved as much as possible - this school is going to make a name for itself as a school for all talents and abilities."
If yes, I would like to give my own character and let anyone write him a story in this RP world ;)
