New text layout with huge white spaces

I recently noticed a change in the forums where every empty line between paragraphs is like 3 times as big as before! Personally I think this bloats the layout of the forum unnecessarily, the extra white space doesn't make a post more readable nor more comfortable, and it just looks plain ugly to me. Would you please consider rolling this back in favor of readability? Thank you very much!

A few of us have complained about this HERE, but so far there hasn't been any response in regard to it. It does look dreadful though

The mobile site doesn’t have this problem, so that’s a workaround for anyone willing to downgrade a bit.

I do wish we could get some kind of official response on this issue, even if it's "we're aware of it and looking into the cause." If there has been one already, I must be missing it. Are all users experiencing this on Firefox or is it affecting any other browsers? On Safari, IE 11, mobile devices, and apparently Chrome from what others have said, the forums look fine. I would hate to think that the forums are dropping support for Firefox, but even if that's the answer it would helpful to know this.
