All the sims err'day
So, plenty has happened since the whole Strangerville incident, and it really takes me way too long to go through it all, so I might as well skip that stuff and fill you in where there might be gaps in knowledge, right?
Anyway, here's just a tiny bit of me playing around with RoM for now. They weren't really my main guys for that gamepack, for obvious reasons.
Some friends of theirs had recently moved to Glimmerbrook, so Rune and Morten are paying them a visit.
MORTEN: (What's going on up here...???)
MORTEN: (Oh man. I never knew they might be witches. That is awesome.)
He turns back, walks downstairs and whispers to Rune, MORTEN: Hey, Rune, you need to see something. RUNE: Huh?
RUNE: Oh dang, that's wild. Is that a real cauldron? ALICE: Yes, for mac'n cheese. Please leave.
Welp, that was the magic word.
Much like how vampires may need invitation to enter private households, telling vampires to leave will instantly compel them to leave as well.
And then Rune started wandering down along the river.
MORT: Well, if you're not going in without me, RUNE: Have fun! MORT: Wait- one last thing. Let's get a picture.
MORT: In I go...
RUNE: ...I don't remember my way home. Hey, wait!
Welcome to the Magic Realm.
MORT: So.. we can't become spellcasters? SAGE: Nah, guys.... you're already vampires. Adding spellcasting on top of that would just make you far too powerful. MORT: Wha- really? MORT: I mean, I guess it makes sense, but... flying on broomsticks looks like fun. SAGE: Sorry about that, bud. RUNE: I'm not sure how being able to cast a few spells as a vampire is such a terrible thing. SAGE: Well, it is! Terrible things would happen. Can't your kind already cast your own type of spells already? RUNE: I... I guess? Sort of?? Yeah, now that you mention it..
SAGE: Well hey, why don't you try it out at the dueling grounds? Vampires are absolutely welcome there too. I mean, you already did get through the portal - some people can't even see that it's there! RUNE: Hm. Sure, why not. RUNE: Come on, Morten!! Let's go try out our abilities! MORT: Oh, huh, uh-- sure, alright.
MORTEN: Nevermind-- This, this is too difficult. I can't.
RUNE: Oh?
RUNE: Hey. It's fine.
RUNE: I know you're still relatively new at this. It's fine. Let's go home, shall we? RUNE: We can always go visit this place again later. MORT: Yeah.

MORT: Holy heck... is that a portal?

RUNE: Yeah, it's.. I don't know.
