Now that Seasons and Cats & Dogs are out, the game has a lot of what I wanted in it already. Still, there are some things from previous games that I would love to have in The Sims 4, so here's my small list.
1.
More occult Sims. Like werewolves, ghosts, witches, etc. I especially would love if we could have ghost babies.
2.
More vacation spots. I like Granite Falls, and I know Jungle Adventure adds a new area too, but I would love a spot that wasn't a forest or jungle. Like maybe a winter place or a small town kind of place.
3.
More pets. We have cats and dogs (and the pet from My First Pet Stuff), but I would love to have birds, turtles, reptiles, etc. Like we had in The Sims 3. It would be cool as well, if we could collect these pets from the world. I also would love horses again, but I totally understand why it would be difficult to add them in The Sims 4.
4.
Different style baby cribs. I know that babies in The Sims 4 can't leave their crib, but I would still love to have more than just two different crib styles. I think it would add just a little bit extra to the game and it would be great for simmers who love to create nurseries.
So these are my suggestions. I have quite a few more, but I don't want this to be too long. A lot of people have been asking for cars, but I don't really see the purpose of them if we don't have an open world. They would be kind of useless. Anyways, that's my list. What are some of your suggestions?

Sims 3 had plenty of occults, it was great.
Extra baby cribs would be good too. So far we only have three; a normal one, a gothic one, and there's an alien one too which is hidden and you only get from being abducted by aliens.
For extra vacation spots, I dunno.. I'd say big cities are actually quite common as vacation spots, small towns much less so, mostly because nobody has ever heard of them, right? They also don't usually have airports? Small European towns are usually things you'd drive through, maybe settling there for a night or so on a camping site. I'm speaking from experience here. My family traveled a lot on vacation as I grew up.
In a big city, your sims could absolutely stay at a hotel and check out the local culture and landmarks...actually, why doesn't San Myshuno have a hotel?
Another vacation spot that seems like a common travel destination, at least for people in my country, is like, the coast of Spain. And the Canary islands; a place with plenty of beach and hotels. Heavy focus on tourism. Not uncommon to run into other people from your own country there either.

I'll add a "me too" here, I loved the Tikki Island from TS2 and would love them to create a beach vacation pack to go alongside Granit Falls and Selvadorada.
I like these ideas except for the occult sims. I would like the option to have more control as to what I have in my game by adding an option to turn off certain things like in ts3 for the celebrity career, I didn't like the idea of becoming one just by talking to one. I really liked all the options of ts3 how you could choose just about everything the game has to offer.. I would love to have the same for ts4.
Plus, it would be nice to have a hobby EP:
In a way, I agree. Though I really loved the adventures in WA, the focus on that was disappointing. I didn't feel as if Sims went on vacation until Seasons and Island Paradise came out. That's part of my issue with TS4 destinations as well.
OR was better at feeling like a vacation than JA. Still, neither pack came with very many leisure time activities. The main reason to go to Granite Falls is to collect things that can't be found at home and to learn the herbalism skill? If your Sim isn't into collecting or herbalism, like the hidden worlds, there's not much incentive to go back to GF. Sims can erect a tent or sit at a campfire at home.
In addition, GF's environment is too similar to WC and NC. To me, there isn't enough distinction there. In that respect, popping over to Oasis Springs feels more like a vacation.
I look forward to a pack that introduces a genuine hotel/resort system, in places that are visually diverse, with lots of leisure activities that players wouldn't necessarily find (or want to add) on a home lot.
Casinos, for example. Also, water parks, carnivals, and amusement parks, full of games and contests (customizable, please); surfing; cruises; scuba diving; snorkeling; wind sailing; jet skis; snow skis; snowboards; snow mobiles (someday?); hot air balloons (Scratch that, hot air balloons in TS3 were awful. I don't expect any better in a game with loading screens and a horizon that's far too close); luaus; log rolling; ax throwing; ice fishing; cliff diving...
Then there are quiet, lazy things to do: lay out in the sun on a towel or in a beach chair, lounger, or float; read a book/tablet at the beach or beside the pool; put suntan lotion on your partner; canoodle in a porch glider or in a hammock made for two; make sand castles; ice sculptures; sit in the surf; ride a horse through the surf (someday?); get henna tattoos; pay for caricatures of your Sim by a local artist; take photos that can be adde to a physical family album, Sims can flip through the album when they want to reminisce; make home movies; buy souvenirs; swim up to a pool bar and order a round or two; slide headfirst into a pool; bathe under a natural or man made waterfall; have chicken fights in a pool or in the ocean; have a leisurely drink on a pool float; pool floats for two; fish from a rowboat in the middle of a mountain lake...
I'm simply looking for something to break up the monotony of the TS4 grind. When the Sims go on vacation, I would like it to feel like they truly had a vacation. Then, they come home feeling refreshed and energized.
I had hoped to see some of this stuff with Seasons. But, nope. Still waiting.
I agree with all of these suggestions. I would like to see supernatural hunters in the game. These requests aren't difficult to make and animate even if you are modelling block to end model result (turning your block to a wireframe model adjusting the vertices, boning, rigging, parenting and baking the material on to the model.) The scripting I don't know about and how time-consuming that could be. But when I create a model of a person or an animal, unless I am using premade models and seriously tweaking them out, it takes me half a day to make and I am a perfectionist with my work and a good deal of time is spent on rendering rather than creating.
1) I want a summer and winter resort where you could do many specific activities like jetski, sailing, surfing, sunbathing, scuba diving, skiing, snowboarding or hiking. That would be cool.
2) The possibility to go back to University and see your sims studying and get their diploma in a big ceremony. You should be able to join sports teams as well as cheerleading.
3) Banking system with a functional bank where you can open accounts, withdrawing at an ATM etc. We should also be able to own it as a business.
4) I want a fashion career with a modeling skill (as you get proficient you should be able to unlock new action like put perfume or unlocking new make up)
5) I want a Fame system where you should be able to meet and greet fans, sign autographs, hire bodyguards, getting harassed by paparazzi)
6) Kindergarten for toddlers
7) How about real estate business with an agency where you can pick your new house or visiting it so you make the right choice. You could also take a mortgage allowing you to buy houses you couldn't afford otherwise.
8) In case they put open world back in future games, I'd love to have a driving school where you learn how to drive. That would be nice.
