The exterior design of your home is very nice! Very nice curved roofing! Some suggestions for areas of the interior are having a gym area, a spa area with a sauna, yoga mat and meditation stool, a library, a study/office, a bar room with a dance floor, an indoors garden or a sunroom, an ndoors pool, a playroom for kids, a music room, a games room.
These are just a few suggestions

With really large houses I like to dedicate an entire room or section to a personal library, filled with TONS of bookcases. (Sometimes spanning multiple floors.) Some other things I put are:
-A spa
-A zen/yoga room
-second and third living rooms.
-Music room
-children's toy/game room
-An entire bar-room
I'm not sure what to do with all your patio space. You might want to focus on making that area a very lavish garden?
I'm scared of those huge lots for this exact reason - filling the space is very intimidating! I try to think of rooms that could be useful in building skills.
Maybe you could have: - a library / study with lots of bookshelves and a desk or two, with a seating area for reading books. - an art room - you could have a few easels plus I'm sure there's some blank canvases and some racks with paintings (not sure if they're base game or an EP, sorry). - a swimming pool - you have enough space for an indoor one and an outdoor one  - a greenhouse for those green-fingered sims! - Maybe one of the 'wings' could be an in-law suite - some houses have an extra kitchen / living room plus bedrooms so family can come and stay and have their own space, or maybe it can be rented out. - you could have a driveway with some sized-up cars out the front - maybe one of your Sims is an aspiring DJ - they could use the DJ booth if you have Get Together. - a games room with chess / the llama game / arcade machine / videogame console etc (depending on EPs...) - oooooh, you could have a hedge maze in the garden, it's so big!
Hi so Im new to the sims forums so Im not like, 100% sure what I'm really doing, but anyway I play the sims a lot. mostly the sims 4. I usually have more fun playing as the sims than building, but I thought it would be nice to give building a try. Im really bad at building houses, and thats what I really want to be able to do. I really dont know how to do much except make walls and put a roof on, lol. so If any of you had any tips for making houses it would really be so helpful.
Hello and welcome, @Sims4sadidles
I'd advise making your own thread/discussion on the topic to get better answers. (But maybe you can't do that as a new member?) Since I'm not sure what exactly you have problems with, I'm going to link you to a few threads with building tips.
Thankyou so much. Yeah I wanted to start my own thread but I found out that you cant as a new member. So I just went to the one that was closest to what I wanted. But I will take a look. thanks again

This is probably an overload of information, but this is the collective forum guide to building. Feel free to scroll through and click on the links that you find useful.

I think this in an unlisted thread from the previous that also has a few tips:

This is a forum page where a lot of builders gave a rundown on how they like to approach new builds. There's a lot of different ways and everyone likes to start differently, but it casts some insight into how builder's minds work when approaching a house.

This is a thread where some builders discussed how they liked to combine items with the MOO (bb.moveobjects) cheat to make new items. Note that a lot of non-builders don't usually appreciate it when you create new furniture.
