Does WiFi mess with the Cache folder ?.

About 3 months ago we switched over to WiFi instead of wires running all over. Just had some issues and went clean the Cache but the folder is bone dry. Really don't want to start all over again. Thank you.

The cache folder only uses files whilst the game is being played. The files should automatically be deleted by the game when exiting. Sometimes the files in it though still remain even though they are meant to just be deleted.
