Locked doors that do not stay locked

Since the last update if I lock the doors in a house so that Sims wont use any room, if I leave that house to play another household or if I save the game and close it and return to the same household later the doors are all unlocked. Removing the mods and CCs and repairing the game have not solved the problem. I have read that for some players Sims will enter locked doors, and it also happens to me sometimes, not often. But mostly the doors do not stay locked

I am sorry that you are having this issue.
Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

Try testing this in a fresh new save game and see if the issues occur there also.

Hi Rosemow. I have deleted the cache files and tried with another save and a new save. The problem still occurs.

Your issue is a little different than the one on the other thread as the door becomes unlocked, rather than staying locked.

Exactly, although I sometimes have the other problem too. I will report the bug. I forgot to mention that also on some houses I have to reset the entrance door everytime I come back to a lot. I will post about this in the same topic. Thank you Rosemow for your time.

Rosemow I clicked on the link and fount the bug topic but I did not find how to post a new topic. There are a lot of explanations on how to use the bug report site and also a lot of topics. But I did not see an option to poste a new topic.

You need to log into the site on the top right hand side of the screen page. Then on the top right hand side of the screen ( a little bit down from where you logged in ) there is a “ New Topic” button that is black and white. Click on that and you can start a new thread.

If you still have issues when you try to log in tomorrow, try logging in on the EA site
https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc
Then go to the AHQ EA site and see if you are still logged in or if you can then log in without issues.

Try using a different internet browser to access the site pages. A different browser may better .

Rosemow I have tried another browser and was able to open a new subject and write in it but not to write anaything in the two first windows asking for My product and on which platform I play

Are you logged in with english or another language ? Make sure to choose english from the drop-down menu at the top.

I still have a problem. I have answered all the questions, Clicked on Preview and I see all my answers but when I click on Submit it reopens the Template resquesting that I fill up the fields again. I would put a screen shot but I cant.

Each part of the form needs to have something written in it. There can’t be sections left blank. Try adding information to each section of the form.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Lock any doors in a house so that Sims or pets cannot enter a room, or lock an appartement door so that only the people of the household can come in.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I leave a lot to play on another lot I come back the to the firs lot all the doors have been unlocked. If I quit the game, all doors previously locked on all lots are unlocked and I have to lock them all again. Also with some lots, a door chosen as front door will not be the front door anymore.
What do you expect to see? I expect the doors that I lock to stay locked and the doors that I choose as front doors to stay that way
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. In fact, yes and no. The problem with locked door appeared after the Season patch. The problem with changing front doors has been happening for a certain time and it is not will all the houses contrairy to the locked doors that happens on all lots.
