No harvestables on Sixam

My sim has been there about 4-5 times, over 3 seasons, and except for a couple of fang flowers, the plants have been completely barren. He's usually there long enough to gather all the collectibles, about 5-6 sim hours, and before Seasons the plants have always bloomed pretty quickly, but now, nothing. I just want a few fruits so he can grow an alien garden at home. Is this a bug, or something they changed? He can still take cutting, so I may have to go the grafting route, but I'd still like to see a few fruits on the plants.

Oh, and he also keeps autonomously trying to "remove the wild plants".

The plants on Sixam grow at 5am if you are in zone. At least you can fly there and they aren't forever stuck like the plants at the Science Lab.
