The Founding Families - New Season - 40 Years Later

So I have been playing on rotation with the pre-made families for about over a year and on around generation 5/6, I love playing this way, it's a great way for me to keep interested in the Sims, by giving them personalities, drama and seeing how they interact. I currently have around 50 households and over 200 sims! Eeek!!
I play each family a week at at time, male children automatically continue the family line, any female that marries a townie also carries on the family line. I've had a number of founding families end as there are no heirs and still plenty of founding families that have a lot of heirs to continue the family tree.
I'm starting from the beginning of the story, this is extremely well planned out with numerous spreadsheets but for me it's totally worth it! The updates will start looking 10 years from the start (Brindleton Bay will come in a few decades as this was a new world while I was already playing).
Please leave a comment about what you think happens to everyone, any story ideas you would like to see and any name suggestions are welcome!!

Vivian and Dennis have both passed on, leaving Eric and Alice living in the mansion with their two daughters, Olivia and new addition, Princess. Alice and Eric are now both in their mid forties, Olivia is 18 and nearly ready to graduate, while Princess just turned 10.
After the passing of her father, Alice decides to take her husband, Eric’s name, becoming Alice Lewis. Alice’s childish trait, mixed with her love of the outdoors and being creative lead to her having a range of different jobs around children. She is an entertainer for parties, where she does face paintings and ‘tattoos’ for the kids, she also did children’s illustrations that she sold at the market down in San Myshuno. She was never extremely successful but this didn’t matter to her, career was not her main focus in life.
Meanwhile, Eric took on a lot of stress to make sure his family could still live in their house in Willow Creek. He worked constantly after getting a job at a computer programming company, spending a lot of time at the office. When he was at home he preferred to be sat playing video games rather than spending time with his family. Eric is not very close with his daughters, he finds it hard to connect with them, he was hoping to have a boy.
Olivia has spent a lot of time with her mother growing up and picked up her love of art and being creative. However, issues with her father have made her somewhat of a loner, preferring to sit inside rather than make new friends. The only person she talks to is her childhood friend, Lucas Munch, who lives next door, in fact, they recently went on their first date.
Princess, as her name hints, loves being spolit and having new things bought for her. At the moment she is getting into music and has started to play piano, a present her absent father got her for her recent birthday.
10 years later for the Goth family, Mortimer is now in his mid 50s, Bella, being a bit younger than Mortimer is still in her forties. Cassandra and Alexander are both young adults.
Mortimer decided to take early retirement, for two reasons. Firstly, the wanted to spend more time developing his knowledge and teaching his kids, then secondly to keep an eye on his wife who he thinks is having an affair.
Bella has calmed a bit now she is an adult, concentrating instead on her career, working in Government. She was having a fling with Don Lothario, but ended it after he got one of the Caliente sisters pregnant.
Cassandra is now a young adult unfortunately Cassandra is a bit bland. She doesn't have her mothers look or her dads intelligence. Both her parents don't really know how to connect with her. She has however graduated university with a degree in music and is part of an orchestra. She has yet to kiss a boy and dreams that one day she will meet her true love.
Alexander is now 21, he is intelligent like his dad but is less confident, spending a lot of time hidden away at the library or visiting museums alone. He has somehow managed to get a girlfriend, the older (7 years) and popular, Luna Villareal. They met at university when he tutored her (she was pushed back classes while Alexander skipped a few years putting them in the same class). Things are going well, Alexander is planning to propose soon.

Post 3. Bob Pancakes - 10 years later
Bob and Eliza are now in their early forties and have a new addition, son Danny who is 8.
Bob is an incredible lazy sim, he has no interest in work or socialising, preferring instead to stay inside watching TV. The only thing he does do is cook, he loves teaching his Danny. His relationship with Eliza is pretty tough right now, they had problems conceiving which affected their relationship. Also Bob’s lack of interest in earning money caused arguments.
Eliza is extremely career focused and enjoys earning money. She was never sure about having children, especially as it took them so long to get pregnant. When Eliza gave brith she pretty much returned straight back to work. She doesn't have a close relatipnship with her son or husband.
Danny is a child right now, he is enjoying school and making friends. He has an odd relationship with his parents, sometimes dad wants to play with him but most of the time he sits in his 'office' playing video games. His mum, he hardly ever sees and when they do she doesn't even talk to him.
Post 4. Travis Scott
The household started as the BFF household, Summer Holiday has moved out, more on her later, Travis and Liberty are now in their early thirties living together as a couple.
It seems to outsiders that Travis and Liberty just ended up together because their true loves moved on with other people. Travis loves Summer, but she only seemed interested in meeting someone with money, he was heart broken when she moved out to marry someone from San Myshuno (ohhhhh, wonder who it could be!!!).
Liberty was in love with J Huntington, as well as most other girls in the neighbourhood! But it was never to be, after a few times sleeping with J it was obvious to her that he wasn’t interested in a future together. However there are rumours that he was still sleeping with Liberty even after he married and had kids with Zoe Patel.
Post 5. Richards Family
The Gavin household has changed a lot in 10 years. Gavin now in his mid-thirties, lives in Willow Creek with wife, Ritu (townie) and their two children, Lacey, 5 and Christian, 2.
Gavin started blogging about his life, living with his mates, which was produced into a popular TV show. The success of the show meant that Gavin could afford to move his own place and quit full time work, instead taking some freelance writing work while still earning royalties from the TV show.
Ritu is a townie that Gavin met at the launch party for his TV show, she was an actress who had a small role on his show. They started dating after a few weeks of chatting on the phone. Their relationship hasn't been an easy one however, Ritu rejected 2 of Gavin's earlier proposals and also wasn't keen on having children. She was worried about the effect it would have on her career. But eventually she decided to go for it and commit to Gavin.
Lacey was born just a few months after Gavin and Ritu got married. She has just started school and is very shy, most of the time she is doodling or daydreaming which does get her into trouble sometimes, she has quite a vivid imagination.
Christian is a toddler and loves to explore and investigate things. He looks up to his big sister a lot, who loves to tell him stories at bedtime that she has made up.
Post 6. Don Lothario - 10 years later
Don Lothario is now 36 and about to become a father, he is living with Nina, 31 and her mother Katarina, 51. Twin sister of Nina, Dina has moved out but more on that later.
Don has really got himself into trouble, having numerous relationships with different women has caught up with him, resulting in Nina getting pregnant. This doesn't sound too bad apart from the fact he was also sleeping with actually in a relationship with her twin sister, Dina. When Dina found out she left without saying anything to any one, he heard she was now living in Windenburg.
Katarina cannot believe the situation she is in, her two daughters are not speaking, she doesn't even know when Dina is right now. And her other daughter is pregnant to a man that has no emotions. Problem is Katarina and Nina have no money to move anywhere else so are having to stay with Don for now.
Nina doesn't know what is worse, the fact she is having a child or that she betrayed her twin sister. Nina has tried everything to speak to her, even travelling to Windenburg and hanging around the local hotspots trying to bump into her. She just hopes that as time passes her sister will find a way to forgive her but right now she needs to concentrate on this baby.
Post 7. Geoffrey Landgraab - 10 years later
Geoffrey is now in his early 60s and retired, wife, Nancy is 59, Malcolm is now 28 and his wife, Sofia, 26, has moved in.
Geoffrey took early retirement from his government job due to the dangerous nature of the work, now he enjoys relaxing and has also bought some property to rent, which earns him a decent income every month.
Nancy has also retired, but this was not a decision she had to make, after years of trading in fake art, selling them to collectors, she was nearly caight after a police investigation. To avoid any further opportunities to get caught, Nancy decided to retire, although she has now developed a bit of a gambling habit!
Malcolm, now a young adult, takes after his mother. He loves money and is happy earning illegally! He studied investment banking at university and through his own research has figured out a way to commit fraud without being detected. He is already earning more than his father did at his age. Of course, his father, mother and wife have no idea what he is actually doing, believing he is a stockbroker.
After years of having no confidence from her family, who adored her younger sister, Sofia concentrated more on her musical aspiration. She met Malcolm on a night out and he wooed her with his bold use of money. For their second date, he hired the entire orchestra hall just so they could have a private show. Sofia isn't sure she knows what love is and whether she does love Malcolm, but how could she say no when he proposed with the biggest engagement ring you'd ever seen.

Post 8. Johnny Zest - 10 years later
Johnny is now in his early thirties and is still living in his trailer with girlfriend, Candy and their twins, Eron and Elinana, both 6. It's been an interesting 10 years for the poor Landgraab reject.
Johnny has maintained his dream of becomer an entertainer, since being kicked out of his home he has been saving every penny possible to fund his idea. He has since purchased a small plot of land and is starting the build of his new bar/club.
Candy doesn't really know what happened in the past 10 years! She never really believed in love after her and her sister, Yuki were abandoned by their parents when they were young. One night she met Johnny and the two got chatting, realising they had a lot in common they grew close and soon starting dating. After Yuki moved out, Candy sold the house and wanted her and Johnny to open their own bar/club together, where Candy could be involved in the music and booking bands to perform. Their dream is starting to become a reality.
Twins, Eron and Eliana have just started school. They were a bit of a surprise to Johnny and Candy who had not been planning on getting pregnant so quick but they love their children. After not having caring parents themselves, Johnny and Candy encourage the twins to follow their dreams and never give up. Eliana loves singing and dancing while Eron has shown an interest in sport.

9. J Huntington - 10 years later
J is now in his forties and is married to Zoe Patel, who is in her mid-thirties. They have three children together, Brody (8) and twins, Fleur and Hazel (4)
J messed up! He enjoyed being a playboy and a lot of the girls he had relationships who weren't interested in any commitment. It wasn't until one messy night he slept with his roommate, Zoe, not realising that she was in love with him. That one night stand turned into something more, J really wanted to like her but it just didn't feel right. And then Zoe found out she was pregnant and J felt trapped.
Zoe is besotted with J, she couldn't believe when he finally noticed her after years of secretly loving him. Poor Zoe doesn't realise that he doesn't love her, only married her cause it was the right thing to do (and was forced to by his parents) and is also cheating on her regularly. But Zoe is too busy to notice as she raised three young children.
Brody is a real charmer and he know it. He looks like his dad, so Zoe does everything he asks for, she even stayed up until 4am the other day doing his school project.
Twins Fleur and Hazel are more like Zoe, very quiet, they rarely cry, instead they just wait until someone comes to check on them. Will J stick around with Zoe?
Post 10. Mila Munch - 10 years later
Mila is now 61 and still has two of her sons living with her, Gunther is 38 and married to Maaike, 36, they have a son together, Will, 9. Mila's youngest son, Lucas is still living with them and is now 19.
Mila is much happier with her family now than she was 10 years ago, she was worried that Gunther would never find love but now he is married and Mila has her beautiful grandson, Will.
Gunther met Maaike after going for a walk one day and stubbling across her near her house next door to the Munch family home. They met daily for walks, before Gunther plucked up the courage to ask her out for dinner. A year later, Maaike moved in and they got married pretty much straight away, before having their son, Will. Gunther still writes, he writes articles for poetry magazines, which earns a small amount of money but he isn't really career orientated.
Maaike loves her family and living in the Munch household, after years of being stuck with Ulrike. Now she can really concentrate on her writing, she has some success with her fantasy novels but this isn't her prime focus, she just loves being a mum and spending time with Will.
Will is a bright and intelligent boy, he's in the top of all his classes and loves coming home and telling his parents and grandma all about his day. Problem is he is struggling to make friends, preferring instead to sit in the library rather than play outside.
Lucas is still at university, he wants to be a doctor so has more years than others do. He just started as a surgical intern and is exctied to finally start working. He has been dating Olivia and things seem to be going well, they might even look to move out to their own place soon.

Post 11. Ulrike Faust - 10 years later
Ulrike, now 33, is still living in the free spirits house, but now has twins, Saint and Suzie, 2, to look after.
Ulrike got herself into a bit of a mess, she was recruited by Nancy to do counterfeit paintings, which she was told were to be used as example pieces, not to actually be sold as fakes. When Ulrike found out she immediately stopped what she was doing but it was too late and Ulrike took the fall after Nancy vanished. Luckily, Ulrike was able to get a good lawayer from friend, Maaike and only served a two year prison sentence.
However prison changed Ulrike and she started drinking a lot, causing her to make bad choices, this resulted in a unexpected pregnancy. Ulrike initially went to get it terminated, until she found out it was twins and then decided this could be the sign she needed to change her life around.
Post 12. Dominic Fyres - 10 years later
Dominc and Moira are now in their late fifites, Siobhan is currently still living with them but her husband, Sergio has also moved in. Youngest daugher, Morgan, has moved out and they don't really hear from her but know she is living with her latest boyfriend in San Myshuno.
Dominic is still working, he is a member of a number of jazz bands that perform at bars and events, such as weddings. Now he is 58 he has taken a step back doing fewer performances so he can spend time on his latest hobby, making music on his new decks.
Moira has not worked since she had the girls, since the girls are now aged up Moira spends most of her time gardening and exploring to find new seeds to plant.
Siobhan has been dating Sergio since they met at school through mutual friends, however since becoming and adult and Sergio moving in she has realised that they don't have the same interest and goals in life. Siobhan spends a lot of time at work, she currently works as a secretary but want to train up to be an exeuctive personal assistant, which means a lot of hours doing meaningless tasks, leaving her little time to hang out with her friends.
Sergio is ambitious and wants to totally focus on work, he's currently working in an investment company as a trainee financial advisor and is studying hard to get a promotion. He knows that Siobhan is keen for them to get married and have children soon, but Sergio doesn't really like children, being an only child himself. Siobhan says it will be different because the children will be his, but he's not sure. Should he get out of this relationship before it's too late.
Post 13. Bjorn Bjergsen Family - 10 Years Later
Bjorn and Clara are now in their late-fifties and will retire shortly. Their eldest daughter, Sofia has moved out and doesn't really talk to them (see post 7). Youngest daughter, Elsa is still living at home and is 22 years old.
Bjorn is a behvaourial scientist and his latest job is working within the secret service, the hours and long but he enjoys his job and he makes a good amount of money in order to support his family. Bjorn doesn't have a lot of friends and prefers to stay in, watching movies. His wife however is the opposite, she loves hosting dinner parties at the house, meaning Bjorn has to make small talk with his neighbours, which he doesn't enjoy.
Clara is an event caterer, baking cakes and other desserts for parties and stuff. This is fairly part time, she doesn't like to spend all her time working, when she has been busy raising her daughters to be the best they can. However she has been left disappointed by her children, eldest, Sofia, never visits and is very spoilt, only wanting material things. Her youngest, Elsa still lives at home and has been dating bad boy, Max Villareal on and off for years. She was hoping her daughter would become a musical star but she has instead started working in the local prison as a tutor, teaching inmates how to read and write.
Elsa has become a bit of a disappointment to her parents, after being spoilt as a children Elsa developed a rebellious side in her teenage years, hanging out with the school rebels she grew a close relationship to Max and they have been dating on and off for a few years now. Her parents disapprove of the relationship as Max spends a lot of time getting arrested and cannot support Elsa properly. Elsa didn't do well at school and even though she used to love learning, she now spends most of her time at the prison, either working or visiting Max.
I'm wondering how can you keep up with so many different families? And aren't you getting bored with some of the families that you play with? You must have a huge rotation, so it takes a while to get back to the family you like the most?

I keep a spreadsheet, totally over the top and detailed but keeps everything in order! I do, there's two families that I'm going to just end cause I'm not that interested in them, I also killed off Marcus Flex cause he just annoys me, he doesn't like anyone I try and get him to couple up with!
I am also playing wiht the premades, but i included the gallery premades also, and Sims 1 families (cuz in my head Sims 4 is between Sims 1 and 2, i just delete the Landgraabs and all...).
Maybe i should post it too... IDK.
You dont need to play all worlds at once, also. You can play one for 4 weeks, then you go to the next. Or you can make it however you want.
@Karon It's just that I would like to have the same age difference between families and not playing one superlong and then have the familytree all "off" if you know what I mean. xD But that's maybe just the perfectionist in me haha
