I try to avoid most music when I record for movies, in the settings ie the radio and dj booth are muted. But in the past I did record certain music in karaoke bars, street musicians etc.
Now I wonder if there exists a list of what songs are original or traditional - or safe to use in movies without getting a copyright problem later on. Preferably a list by EA, but perhaps there is a certain pattern in it. Like holiday singing (Seasons) - are they all traditional songs? Street musicians and jamming? Practice singing? Etc?
Anyone?
