Snowball Fight feedback

Hi,

The Sims Studio repeat the same TS3 mistake. The snowball fight is still a big failure, 1 snowball per hour ! Seriously ???
There are too much useless animations between each snowball, it's totally unrealistic and the sims behave like robots.

When I want a snowball fight, I expect "Action" or something dynamic like the TS3 pillow fight.

The SimDays are short and the number of fun group activities is limited, I'm very sad to see Maxis sabotage it.

After 11 years of experience, 3 Seasons EPs and several billion of dollar of revenue, they can't really do better than that ?

When you know The Sims 2 was better, it's a shame.

I totally agree - the snowball and water balloon fights in Sims 4 are sooooooooooo lame (not even sure if the mud fights work at all). They just stand there for the most part. I loved Sims 2 snowball and water balloon fights! So disappointing. The play fetch animation with pets is equally lame in Sims 4.

The same thing happens in my game. I don't get what's so fun about standing around and doing nothing next to a bucket of water balloons. It sure isn't fun to watch. It's a real letdown, to be honest.

It really is hard to understand how stuff like this gets past all of the phases of testing, and into a product where we get charged for it.

I wish my sims could have outdoor fun fights that looked like fun fights and were actually fun. I'd really like to see that.

Like, I really want to like this game but I have to ignore things left-right to do it.

It’s a pretty embarrassing level of quality. I honestly don’t know how the studio releases something like that and doesn’t think anything of it.

Yes! The poorly animated snowball fights are one of my few gripes about "Seasons" in TS4. They're so lifeless and boring to watch. As I said in my post a while back, the limp snowball fights make it look like EA ticked their animators off and this is the result.

I agree! The worst part of Seasons is the lackluster mud and snow fights. They should just get rid of the laughing part of it and replace it with the sims throwing more rapidly!

Its so weird because when they were first showing off Seasons, one of the gurus said "we tried to make the snowball fights really dynamic". Like, dynamic where? They just stand there, throw a snowball, then run somewhere while the other sims stand like robots the whole time. It's disgustingly low quality and looks straight up unfinished. If the snowball and mudfights weren't going to be done by release, they should have just waited to add those in later in a free update.

Speaking of the snowball fight - In one of the Seasons streams they said Sims can take cover behind things like trees. Has anyone ever made that work? Until now I haven't seen a single video of it and my Sims never did that in my game.
