I wish we could go back to ts3 relationships where the game recognized in laws, step kids, and aunts/uncles.

It bugs me when it shows my sim has no relationship to her step kid or in laws.

Should be an easy add on. Any Gurus listening?

legacy is a bit of a drag in ts4, hopefully in ts5 we will get a better family tree.

I agree. Step parents and step siblings are marked on their family tree, why can’t they also show up in the relationship panel?

Agree, the family tree needs a massive overhaul. It's very very lacking.

What about 2nd Cousins they don't acknowledge that one either at least put cousin on the second cousin as well.

I wish there was a way for them to acknowledge their relatives too. Also an interaction like "Hey Bro!" or "Hey Sis!" which they would do and wave or give a high five or fist bump. Then there could be like a "Hey Cuz!" for Cousins. Also there should be a way to chat with other sims about relatives to acknowledge them or gossip or share information about them.

Did they ever state why in laws were removed from Sims 4?

I just want my Sim to stop wanting romantic interactions with his female relatives. Is that too much to ask?

This is one of the reasons why I always end up going back to TS3. I like making extended and complex families, and I feel like my saves never meet their full potential because the families are lacking.

My sim once married and had children with her second cousin once removed. Now the family tree is all messed up. figures.
