Is Salvadorada too rainy? Should I buy?

I was thinking of purchasing jungle adventures but then read that Salvadorada is unplayable because it's too rainy. Is this true?

My sim has gone there in every season and it wasn't that bad. It doesn't rain every single day, but it was always warm or hot. you could always go into the game options and turn off rain temporarily if it bothers you though.

I haven't played it since Seasons came out, it's a tropical jungle, but hopefully they didn't overdo the rain forest part--I bet there could be some beautiful rainbows though. I wonder what the weather will be like in Granite Falls, I've not been there for a while.

Actually I found the rain part rather helpful, as in you can take showers. Helps your sims to stay clean and if you get storm chaser trait, it can get pretty fun. In general though, it rained a fair bit in my save, but overall it was still enjoyable. It might bother some, though, if they just want to camp out in the Jungle and don't intend to explore the temple.
