Author's note and some background info
Hey guys! Thank you for checking out my story.
This was originally supposed to be just a legacy, but I decided that that would be too boring and decided to combine my love of Sims with my love of writing. Basically, this is going to be a documentation of several generations of Sims with a complete story woven in between. I know where I want it to go and how I want it to end, but not how it'll go between now and then.
I haven't really done anything like this before, but wanted to start sharing my Sims and stories with the community, and I've been inspired by several stories and legacies here on the forum
Our founder Roberto Velez is a smart young man with a penchant for being unlucky in love. Will he ever find it? Or is he condemned to watching others fall in love his whole life?
Updates will be rather sporadic.

He didn't know where he was going. All he knew was that he had to get away from her. The woman who had used him. The woman who had stolen his heart and almost his dog.
He let memories of her run through his mind...
... And then, the way she had gazed at Benjamin Schmidt with much more than love in her once warm brown eyes.
He remembered the way she had greeted him with a cheerful smile as he entered the hospital on his first day of work, and how they'd discussed the day afterwards at her house.
And now, this? A look of victory as she nuzzled with Benjamin, her eyes full of lu*st.
And to think Roberto had been about to propose...
"Oh Hailey, will you marry me?"
Praise the Watcher those words had never escaped his mouth. He was disgusted at his lack of judgment. Hopefully he could make a new life here in... where was it again...? Sunset Valley. That was it.
A new life, he thought to himself. A new life, where I can start again. And as the sun rose over his new home, he turned to find the Town Hall.
