Stuck on community lot because "Vampire breaking in"

One Sim was at home and the one I was playing was at a restaurant. I tried to send her home and it said I couldn't because a vampire was breaking in. I tried to switch to my home Sim but it wouldn't let me. Caleb Valatore was at the restaurant, so I waited for him to leave but it still won't let me leave. I brought my Sim who was home to the restaurant, still can't go home or save and exit. Caleb left the restaurant and I still can't leave or save and exit. I don't have any mods or CC. The game is paused for now. I am essentially stuck at the restaurant. I don't want to exit without saving because I haven't saved for a long time.

Try inviting Caleb back to the restaurant , then invite him to go to your home or somewhere else with you. This should allow you to both go to travel to your home or another lot, Then you can just leave him.

Thank you. I waited it out. Eventually, it let me leave. I didn't know Caleb so I am not sure if would work.
