2 duos have matched a Switch tile set. This will cause the Sims of these duos to pick new duo partners in a schoolyard pick.
The first Jetsetter to grab a Switch gets the first choice in the schoolyard pick: they can choose a new duo partner from everyone who
1) has grabbed a Switch; and
2) has not been partnered with them before in the game.
They'll also have to keep the next duos in mind; if their choice would force another duo to break one of these requirements, it's not an eligible choice.
After the first Jetsetter has chosen a new partner, the former partner of the new partner can choose next. (e.g.: Frankie chooses Benjamin as a new partner. Benjamin's former partner Melinda is next to choose).
This process will go until only two people will remain, who will form a new duo by default. One of these will be the former partner of the first Jetsetter.
In the present scenario, Meredith gets the first choice. She could choose between Jayda and Freya as a new partner.
If she'd choose Jayda though, she'd force Freya to form a duo with Hannes. Hannes and Freya were a duo already in Episode 1 though.
This leaves her with Freya as her new duo partner. Which leaves Hannes and Jayda to be partnered.
From now on, Hannes-Meredith and Freya-Jayda are disbanded.
Instead, Freya-Meredith and Hannes-Jayda will be the new duos.
