In the old curriculum, some grade schools had an optional Grade 7, but mine didn't. Depending on whether you went through Grade 7, you'd graduate high school on the year you turn 17 or 18. How much choice you have in what you study also depends on your school. We had one elective in senior year, and that was the only thing we had a choice in.
And that's a lot of novels. No wonder you're so fluent now.
It's true that water slightly decreases in density as it nears the freezing point. That means a cube of ice has a greater volume than the same amount of water in liquid form. Volume of ice decreasing when it melts = lower water level
Yeah, that's why Ice cube floats and because they are not entirely submerged in liquid the volume occupied by the ice cubes' bottom is equal to the whole volume that will be occupied by water when ice cubes have melt. Solid ice has a lower density that liquid water and will occupy more space given that their mass is the same.
Hmm...you do make a good point about the ice cubes only being partially submerged because they're floating 🤔
Hmm, 17 or 18 sounds reasonable. Though some people might need a couple of years to figure out what makes them truly tick (me included ).
A lot indeed. Luckily my English teacher mentioned Sparknotes back in the day, so I could look up some plot events. Another book I had to read was Macbeth. Luckily our copies had a modern translation besides the original text.
I have a feeling it's gonna be Moonlight Falls, Odessa's hometown. We've been to Min Hee's this season so far so I wouldn't be surprised to see the rest of the episodes being filmed there.

Who knows? I can confirm that this location may be a certain someone's hometown.
Oh yeah, my sisters have copies of Shakespeare with modern translations. I read Othello that way
I don't think my English teachers liked Sparknotes .
And true, some people don't find out what they want to do until later. Lots of universities here compel students to take general education classes in their freshman, so it tends to be easier to change majors early on

Haha, I also have a copy of Shakeare's work bundled, just without translation. So good luck reading to me.
Nah, and I could understand why. You should use it to understand your subject better, but just copying everything from there is a no-go. In the Netherlands there's also scholieren.com, which has a lot of book summaries. The site even has a warning against copying.
Afaik it's harder to switch studies in here, because it's more specialised. It's possible, but you got to have good reasons to convince the college.
Oh. In my university, as long as you met the requirements for the major you want to switch to, you can switch. I think other universities aren't as strict too
I even had a friend who switched after his third year. Of course he had to extend a year, but he really didn't want to do math and finance anymore

HERE ARE THE THINGS I'LL NEED FROM YOU FOR THE UPCOMING EPISODE
* * * * * SUSPECT RANKING * * * * *
It is time for the Ranking. Each and every duo will go and select their top 3 of Assassin suspects. So, first things first, here's the form you have to fill in...
Ranking from _____ (please replace all the ___ spaces with names, and in bold to officially lock it in. If one duo member is inactive, their partner can lock one in on behalf of both.)
Your thought process behind your Ranking (optional) -______________________________________________________________
The deadline for this Ranking is May 10th, at midnight GMT (Brittain). Failure to meet the deadline will result in one or more strikes given. 3 strikes and you will be force-Eliminated from the game. The following 'table' will show the amount of strikes you'll receive if you send in your Ranking after the deadline. If you find yourself in need for an extension, feel free to ask me for one. I won't bite.
| 1 strike: May 11th - May 14th. | 2 strikes: May 15th - May 17th | 3 strikes: After May 17th. |
The deadline for Diary Room Entries is also May 10th!
* * * * * IMMUNITY RANKING * * * * *
Beside the regular Ranking, I need every player to fill in THIS POLL. The higher you put someone, the more you think this player deserves Immunity. Please put your name in the comment section as you submit your reply.
If you are not currently one of the 8 players, please do not fill in the poll, as it'll interrupt the flow of the game. For the 8 players, please do not use multiple devices to submit multiple rankings.
Hmm, if you're saying that this is the second time you're answering the poll then I think it might be better to ditch the poll and get in the rest of all replies manually, or else the poll results will be skewed.
I have 4/6 Rankings in, and
I have 8/8 Immunity Rankings in!
Choco has asked for a 3-day extension for both of his Rankings due to an exam. Which means the following dates apply to all remaining Rankings:
Save: May 13th | 1 strike: May 14th - May 17th. | 2 strikes: May 18th - May 20th | 3 strikes: After May 20th. |
The deadline for Diary Room Entries is still May 10th. So far only Lilli has one submitted for Iris. If you feel like writing a DRE for upcoming episode, be my guest and send it in.
I just did the math on my laptop and I have found out who is the sole player who, according to the group's opinion, deserves Immunity the most. I will start briefing when the outcome becomes relevant to the game.

I wonder if Strangetown is accessible through water. Maybe Vul can think of something 🤔

Noted. Why would he leave his room with private sauna anyway?
I could put the Jetsetter on top of the backs of a pack of giant camels, camels are named 'the ships of the desert' after all.

Next Challenge will be easier.
Haven't really done much math since high school either. I especially struggled a bit with probability. XD
You might be pleasantly surprised when you see the next location.

I have replies from
- @icmnfrsh
- @lillibattenberg
- @YJB19299
- One I believe to be from @ChocoCub
- One that might be a double from Lilli
- One from an unknown person.
Nah, it's okay. I know it's you either way so that's good.
That's an idea. I don't have any duplicate orders, so I guess I'll just count the one you'd have submitted last.
- 3/6 Rankings
- 5/8 Immunity Rankings
Choco has asked for a 3-day extension which has been approved.
