Legend has it that in 2042 they're still inside the school.
Seriously, have they got out yet?
Nope. Though since it's pretty much the only step to do, I can take pictures and write the episodes in the meanwhile. It's super annoying that I still have the issue that my game crashes when my camera leaves the lot. But if I'm more conscious about the camera movement I can keep the crashing down.
KIKI: Leave the school
HANNES/JAYDA: Leave the school
Both duos leave the school. Hannes and Jayda bring in 20.000, while Kiki brings in 0, due to having answered zero correct answers.
CHALLENGE RESULTS
5 duos entered the school. Only 3 came out to lock in their Simoleons, 2 of those also lost a member along the way.
ETHAN AND KIKI
Ethan left after failing English, which also took a lot of time, no Simoleons earned despite finishing.
EUGENE AND WENDELL
10.000 from leaving Wendell at Detention, which was lost when Eugene failed Physics. Zero Simoleons.
EUPHELIA AND LUCAS
Lucas left after failing Chemistry. 10.000 for passing Biology, after which Euphelia lost that at Literature Class.
HANNES AND JAYDA
Passed both History and Math, making them the only duo to finish without losing a member and earning 20.000 Simoleons.
IRIS AND OLIVER
Passed PE, Art History and Economics, after Iris left due to failing Geography Oliver finished and earned 30.000 Simoleons.
FREYA AND MEREDITH
Sat out this Challenge.
TOTAL RESULT
50.000 to the Jetsetters, and 70.000 to the Assassin.
COMING UP NEXT AFTER THE EPISODE
A Ranking and Elimination. It's time to rally up your duo partner and start discussing your suspects together. Please don't wait until last minute with this.
Good luck and lots of wisdom.
Yeah, why does it always have to be a love thing?
(Because shipping is fun, that's why.)
My reaction to Freya and Meredith: *rolls eyes*
My reaction when I realized that it was you incorporating the problems during the Challenge: VUL YOU DIDN'T THAT IS GENIUS
*sees Oliver run* *hears Chariots Of Fire theme*
Oh boy, Oliver's really going for it with the Lorenz curve.
Ewwww, Mr Bonepick. Creepy talking skeleton. (YOU HAVE NO VOCAL CHORDS! HOW CAN YOU EVEN TALK?!!!?!!!!!!???)
...Really? Are we seriously back on the Jetsetter?
I seriously can't anything about those stuff I've learnt before high school.
I still think the water level wouldn't change because when ice cube dissolves it turns essentially into water which doesn't result in a net change of density.
Also what's the answer for the maths question? Maximum of intersection points for 4 circles of different radius?
Not sure about anywhere else but here we choose specialised subjects to take during high school, usually those that are relevant to the course you are intending to study at university which means there's going to be a very high possibility of us not being able to answer questions from other subjects. Physics, I did it in GCSE and learnt Ohm's Law when I was 14 and then Literature... let's just say I'm not that much of a reader.
It's true that water slightly decreases in density as it nears the freezing point. That means a cube of ice has a greater volume than the same amount of water in liquid form. Volume of ice decreasing when it melts = lower water level
Don't manhandle the urchin. He's not for sale. FIND YOUR OWN! - Xenon the Antiquarian, Dragon Age II
Race Against the Clock: Can your elder sim turn back the clock before their time runs out?
Literature is a bit of a mixed bag, because we didn't read a lot of novels in school. A lot of novels I did read were for leisure.
Back in the old curriculum here, we had a general spread of subjects. Most of which you won't need in your everyday life or job. Specialization mostly began in college when you picked a major upon entry. I don't think there exists a university/college here that lets students enroll without a major.

Yeah, that's why Ice cube floats and because they are not entirely submerged in liquid the volume occupied by the ice cubes' bottom is equal to the whole volume that will be occupied by water when ice cubes have melt. Solid ice has a lower density that liquid water and will occupy more space given that their mass is the same.
That song number. I guess the whole Lucas-Eugene shipping has its last nail on the coffin
A magical mishap is why they had to sit this challenge out. Very in-character

Back to the Jetsetter! And goodbye Shang Simla
Oof, the eliminees won't get to go to the new destination. How unfortunate
Yup, Lucas-Eugene sadly went down. But that doesn't mean that a new contender for Lucas may appear at the new location... @ninjakid150
if you have any ideas feel free to shoot me a DRE or something.
Nothing beats Meredith and Freya acting strictly according to their characters. The more hyjinx they can get up to, the better. :3
Nothing beats slowmotion running XD Like Lilli said: Chariots of Fire does the best.
Mr Bonepick comes with University Life. I believe somewhere among the skill objects. So if you have the pack you can buy your very own Mr Bonepick.
There is so much moving on in this episode. Not only do we move on from Shang Simla, but we also move on from Pearl and Wendi, from the tries to match Lucas with Eugene... But as we move on we'll embark on new adventures and find new Challenges to handle, new opportunities to discover who the Assassin might be.
Reaction tiiiime!

I do have to say that romantic subplots tend to be overrated at times. And sometimes it's satisfying to see a storyline without romance, to change things up from the usual. Just look at last season, there was only 1 couple with romantic teasing, and one of the two was out first.
Nothing beats Chariots Of Fire theme. Though I do wonder, anyone remembers playing QWOP? Isn't that the buzz of CoF playing when you have reasonable speed?
How can he even talk... Magic? No, the two magical players missed out on this ChallengeeScience! Oliver is interested in doing science.
I'm considering a reprise of Going Back to Hogwarts to celebrate the return.
I seriously can't anything about those stuff I've learnt before high school.

I've learned in high school that water takes the least amount of space when it's around 0 degrees of Celcius. So my question was referring to that. But I guess that the example of the ice floating around in a glass wasn't chosen well. A glass of frozen water might've been better.
Oi, good that you mention it, completely forgot to put that in...
Hmm, so in England you have to choose your subjects early on already? Dutch high schools have students follow all subjects in the first few years, and at the final 2 years students select a profile of subjects, which they follow and graduate. Makes me curious on the different school systems across different countries.
I picked 4 languages in my high school subject list, so I had to read a ton of novels. For Dutch I had to read 14 novels, 7 of which had to be of old Dutch literature from older time periods. For English I had to read 4 novels, 3 short stories and 3 poems, and for French and German I had to read 4 books each. One of the 4 English novels was The Color Purple, which is where I got that question from. It's been filmed too, with Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey in main roles.
So in the Philippines schools have student follow all subjects until college. At what age do students go to college?
In the old curriculum, some grade schools had an optional Grade 7, but mine didn't. Depending on whether you went through Grade 7, you'd graduate high school on the year you turn 17 or 18. How much choice you have in what you study also depends on your school. We had one elective in senior year, and that was the only thing we had a choice in.
And that's a lot of novels. No wonder you're so fluent now.

As Lucas pointed out in the episode, there are only 12 Jetsetters left, and also 12 bedrooms meant for contestants. Rooming up with your twin sibling might be fun and cozy, but I bet some are looking forward to having a room of their own.
I am allowing every player who has both of their Sims left in the game to move one of their Sims out of their old bedroom and move in a vacant one.
First come first serve - it's also allowed to keep them both sharing a room.
