@AlbaWaterhouse Well again, to each his or her's own. :)

As I said before, my main concerns are game play related:

How much more micromanaging will we have to do to use things?

How will clothes work? Will we get more outfit slots? I don't want to have to limit myself to one outfit per season.

I LOVE the idea of automatic custom holidays. Because as I said I never celebrate holidays in Sims otherwise because it just just a chore, and sim days are too short unless all your sims are self employed. Initially I was afraid I would never ever use any of the decorations in game but that seems to be fixed with this

Is the indoor rollerskate rink an object or a venue? (I hope it's an object. A nightclub / Rollerskate arena with on-skate-dancing would be a DREAM!)

    etc.

On origin theres a description 'Create beautiful bouquets and unearth new discoveries in the gardening career. With a newfound green thumb as a floral designer, Sims craft flower arrangements and make deliveries around town.'

    Does this mean cars!?

Hopefully - and honestly most likely - an object. Rollerskating nightclub yees, sims getting plum and then totally failing on the rink.

Quite certainly no; we don't need them since we always teleport around.
That said... a more specific trait maybe? Sure sounds like it.

We always teleport around because there are no cars. :D I need them, that's for sure. Bikes, too. And although I do believe cars are coming eventually, not in this pack.

I'm so excited for this pack! I spotted so many new things in the trailer but my favorite is that weather machine. And the way that sim took the lightning and threw it into the sky was so cool.

Someone on Youtube said there is a new outerwear category with the new update. Can anyone confirm? I am unfortunately not able to check right now :(

There has always been an outerwear clothing category in CAS (the categories like Sweaters, Jackets, Short Dresses), but I haven't checked if there is an outfit category (like Everyday, Formal, Party) for it.

I also notice that once again all swimsuits are mom-swimsuits from the 1950s. There is not a single sexy bikini or swimsuit in the game (for women. Men get a banana hammock for some reason).

Um, there are. I hope you don’t expect Sims to have French cuts because that is not their style.

No there aren't. Swimsuits do not become "sexy" just because they're swimsuits.
Edit: It gets even more confusing since we have three sets of lingerie for women that are seriously meant to look sexy (the actual corset panties set, the sheer see-through lace panties and bra, and bra and panties set with the heart shaped front. All three of these are downright raunchy compared to the swimwear.

I have no idea what "french cut" is, and after googling it I am even more confused since 99% of the pictures showing "french cut swimsuit" basically shows the ones we have in the game or maybe cut about half an inch higher. And then the last 1% basically shows pornstar style swimsuits...

Admittedly that 1% is actually closer to what I want. Now this might be because of age; I was born in 1972, which means I grew up in the 80s and 90s... but to me, any swimsuit cut so that it covers the hip bone is grandma swimsuits, because only women over 55 were using those when I grew up.

This was about the normal cut on bikinis and swimsuit that all females between 13 and 53 were wearing (no strings or thongs, but higher cut). Now it's not a dealbreaker or anything, and i guess I can download CC (though I have never downloaded any kind of CC for this game except MCCC, becuase CC forced me to reinstall and / or throw away saves both in Sims 2 and 3).

Maybe what's sexy to you is not sexy to others and viceversa. I personally think that the new swimsuit showed in the trailer can be super sexy and flattering.
And I think for what I assume you mean when you say "sexy", there are a couple already in game.
I'm on my phone at the moment but as soon as I get to work I'll post pictures of the ones I mean.

Edit to add the ones I mean:
    uUebVGF.jpg

I don't consider them sexy, Now I don't know what the intent is, but the way they work on the models definitely screams "Frumpy" to me.
I know this is the style these days, but to me they are "vintage" or "grandma". It's the kind of swimsuits movie stars in the 40s would wear. (Not counting the Bikini obviously which is a much more resent invention)

Then I don't know really, to me those example look nothing like "frumpy" but I guess this is what I said, each person has a different perception of what's "sexy" or "frumpy".

Back to the topic, I am really concerned about the lack of lounge chairs and sunbathing in the trailer :| Or did I miss it?

I was concerned too, so I asked on twitter for the Q and A session they are putting together. We'll find out soon enough I hope!

In the scene with the picnic basket there was what looked like 2 towels on the ground under it instead of a blanket. So I think the basket may be decór and the towels are for sunbathing.

I want the Seasons to make sense in the area they belong in and that's what I think they have attempted to do. So I'm guessing no snow in the Jungle and possibly none in Oasis Springs. Just guessing of course. It would look weird to me otherwise so I'm hoping.

I think that's why they've said about the different worlds so it all makes sense and is immersive

Where did you see Nectar Making? I didn't see it anywhere.

Oops, sorry that was a mistake, but with beekeeping and floral arrangements it could potentially be in the pack?

If the reason this EP is packed with content is because there's no new world, then I'd rather not have new worlds in EPs again. :P

@IceyJ there is no point in cars when there is no open world though... I doubt that cars are ever going to come.

I could totally handle less worlds for an EP like this more often

I just have one question about this pack. Will you be able to control what season it is in each world, or will it just switch by itself?

The Seasons pack looks very exciting, and I can't wait for it to be released!

    I have a question:
    1. Will items that are outside, such as the telescope, get rusty/break more often in the rain or snow?
    2. If a Sim has a roof deck or a basement with an entrance coming from outside (so that the staircase leads to outside), will the basement flood if there's a lot of rain or snow?

I've watched the trailer soooo many times now and have not yet had my fill. I find it funny that I was so ready to wait for sales for the Jungle pack, even though I thought I wanted it pretty bad, but there will be no waiting for this pack... except the 28 days between now and the 22nd June. :D<3 So excited!

Sigh. Ever heard of Sims 2? It's closed world and still has cars.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to info on features they haven't told us about yet.

The OTHER problem with cars et al (besides the fact that they don't make sens, game mechanic-wise) is that in Sims 3 they sucked, unless you had the very fastest ones. Giving your kid a bicycle for example was just a way of saying "I don't want to see you so often, have fun biking for 3 sim hours to get anywhere).

I suppose if you're impatient you'd think they suck, but for those of us that prefer realism... I'd rather watch my sim drive or bike than watch a loading screen. (The scenery in my town is beautiful.)

For many of us, driving in The Sims is not about how fast you get there. At least we know that shouldn't be an issue in this game.

Realism... we all mean different things with it.
I am for example not really much into the supernatual stuff (by the time witches and werewolves and fairies comes along i usuall find it overbearing; when 60-70% of all sims in the world are "unique", it is actually the non-monster ones that are odd). On the other hand I never bother setting tables, or having family dinners...

I liked the cars in Sims 3 mainly because I like cars. And bikes. My 🐸🐸🐸🐸 biker chick Ghostbuster was riding everywhere on her Not!Harley capturing ghosts every night. And yes, the fact that the bike didn't lean in the curves irritated the plum out of me! How hard can it be making that happen??

Anyway, a lot of little things add up. The first 10 times it's cool to see your poor sim driving to the City Hall using his old clunker. The 38th time? ZZZZzzzz...

I'm wondering, does this finally mean our days will have different sunlight hours? I mean, shorter days in the winter, longer days in the summer? Spring and Autumn about average? Previously it's all been summer-based hours.

Also, I love supernatrual things - I love all the things you can do in the Sims that you can't do in real life. That weather machine looks right up my alley.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
