@rosemow I wasn't aware I'd have to move the Documents folder, and I installed Sims on my hard drive last night, and I noticed half of it seemed to go onto the hard drive, and the other half went into My Documents. CAS seemed to run fine with it like this, so I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to uninstall it and do it all over again? Or can I just leave it?
Also, should I move any of my other folders into my hard drive like that? Or just My Documents?

Hello
The game will still run okay with the sims 4 folder on one of the drives and the game installed on the other. It is just that you don’t have a lot of room on the SSD drive and it will fill up quite quickly. The game can stay on the hard drive. If you decide to move over the Documents folder, it will give you more room on the SSD drive.
@rosemow I installed Photoshop and Word on my laptop last night, I think Word went onto the SSD drive and PS on the hard drive, will moving My Documents affect them at all?

As a lot of people are saying I think this would be great for streaming. I have a Dell Gaming Laptop and have a lot of CC. it works great. Always give yourself the possibility to get more space if needed. Have a great day

It won’t affect these programs. Saved files will go into the Documents folder wherever it is located.

@rosemow I really need some help. I'm trying to follow the video and move the folder, but every time I try, it keeps giving me an error that says: "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied." I took everything off my hard drive though (it was just Sims, Origin, and Photoshop.) So the folder is empty. I'm not sure what to do

@rosemow so it's what I expected: my OneDrive was blocking it, so I thought I figured out how to fix it and moved it like the video said, but now the entire folder keeps renaming itself to the name of my hard drive, instead of staying My Documents, almost like they're becoming one instead of the folder moving drives. I'm not sure how to fix this. When I set it back to being part of One Drive, it changes back to the name My Documents. I hope this makes sense.

@rosemow turning it off didn't seem to help, however I set OneDrive to install on my hard drive instead, which I think may have fixed it. I did like you said and made a custom folder on my hard drive for Origin, and I'm reinstalling Sims back on now, so hopefully everything will work out once it's done.

Maybe it has something to do with special permissions that folder has and sadly I cannot instruct you on how to change the permissions if that is it. Messing around with permissions can really screw up your computer.

Hello
I am sorry that you are having this issue.
I have found this Microsoft article that has steps to workaround the issue

You could perhaps try turning off One Drive and see if that helps
