@AlexaKry Baby sitting the Grand. He had a little cold and I guess I didn't wash up very good. I kept a cold the entire time my son was young 'cause he was always sick. Cold viruses thrive all year round, sadly.

So next time you´ll visit him you have to wear protective clothing, just take some from work with you....
And then you´ll sit down with him in a green or blue overall under a white op coat with a hair protection, a mask under a visor and gloves of course. Then you spray desinfection all over him, put away all his toys and give him just one new one you´ve bought and desinfected before... shall be safe then...
Still working on Supernatural Island. It is almost ready to start playing in it...I think.
This is Tyler's horse with the black coat mod and the mod that fixes shiny tail. Definitely looks better in game than without the mods. The black horn still looks off color depending on camera angle. But, it is better than before the mods. I'm still undecided on a name. Eclipse or Orion are the choices I'm down too. Any opinions or other suggestions are welcomed.
I wanted to see how he looked with a silvery horn. Not silvery enough, but it glows nicely.
I made @CravenLestat a lot in the game. I didn't take a picture of the whole lot but @Rflong7 called this one burned lot and it has the remnants of a burned home on it. He gets a hammock, sleeping bag, tent for rain, and when I find my cc, I will let him have a log to sit on and a stump for the lantern. He always liked rags to riches stories. I miss @CravenLestat. Wish he would pop in.
I chose a house for David and Maria and baby Eden. ( @Silverofdreams30's simself and @TinySpaceFox's David. They hooked up in Sanctuary so I kept them together as a family for Supernatural Island. David is a werewolf and Maria is a genie. Baby Eden will by a hybrid.
They will live next door to my tester family from Moonlight Falls in the beach area. Their home is Unusual Abode from Midnight Hollow with my twist on it.
This handsome werewolf and witch will see if they can make more sparks fly.

hehe, she is kin to Bekka. Her name is Lea. She was made off of my original Bekkasan. I made her a model in Lucky Palms back in 2014 when I started using mods. Alexandria was made from her. I put the same outfit on her that Bekka wears. Oops! You are very observant. The blond was a gift because I begged @emorrill for him. Shane!

I spent some time yesterday exploring Jade Paradise, a world by @KatyFernlily. She did a makeover of Rovington Islands with permission from the original world builder. The thread in creative corner is here and her tumblr is here
The world is beautiful and these pictures are just a glimpse of what is in store for your sims. I will definitely add this world as a possibility for one of my sims to move and use as a vacation world for others. There are no rabbitholes in the world, but all the buildings have room for the rugs if you want to add those. They are not included in the world. Also, the world is not populated. You will need to do that on your own.
I put @emorrill's blond Shane and a gal I made for him in the world. I named her Skye but I'm just not liking it as much as I thought I would so probably will change it. They drove around town in a convertible VW enjoying the beautiful views of the town.
They visited an beautiful coffee shop and enjoyed some desert outside.
This is a totally awesome swimming pool in the world. Shane won the breathing contest! I had them snorkel in the pool as well to learn the diving skill as there is a dive lot in the world. Might be more than one, but I definitely saw one.
I'm not sure exactly what he is asking with that thought bubble!
They visit a nearby club as well...
and watch the mixologist drop bottle after bottle on the floor.
They finally get to enjoy their drinks and continue getting to know each other. I think he likes her!!
Still exploring in Jade Paradise. Skye and Shane are playing with the university gifts but neither have any desire to go to university. Neither does watcher.
The next morning Skye tells Shane she wants to move to a bigger house. This one only has one bedroom and Shane slept in the bed and did invite her to sleep with him. She slept on the couch!
Driving around town they enjoyed looking at the houses. They both decided they wanted something on the beach. Those options are limited in Jade Paradise unless you want to add a lot and build one yourself. That was a little disappointing for me as I don't want to build when I'm exploring a world. There are docks and you can add houseboats. They went to the library so Shane could use the computer and Skye read a book while he browsed around. She's a bookworm.
More pretty views as they go find the new house. They pass some interesting places a pink diner, run down buildings, marshes, and even what looks like an ancient ruin! Lots of places to explore.
At last they arrive at the new house. It is not on the beach but is just up a slight hill from the beach.
And of course they have their first conversation in the new house about who gets the big bedroom in the bathroom.

It´s a shame that there aren´t many pre-build beach houses.
And because I am a lazy Simmer I dislike the thought of no rabbitholes. Of course I have all rabbithole rugs and doors, but I don´t like to place it all over the world just to have the most needed rabbit holes for the careers. Although my family Sims mostly work self-employed jobs some need a normal career. Furthermore all townies need a place to work.
Could it be that Skye is is Bekka/your Simself???
And: I stand to my words: I like Shane better with his dark hair, he is not a guy who can wear blonde, unless he shaves himself better... I had to giggle about the face of Skye when testing out the university goodies!
And it seems as if Shane can´t tackle the flag....
I don´t like to send my Sims to university, either. I don´t know why but this world and the chores of going to classes and such makes me feel bored very soon. Moreover this kind of university is soooooo different to the universities here in Germany that I can´t play that kind of "going to study". My experiences are so different and the universities look so different and even the teaching systems are so different that I don´t even LIKE to play that EP.
But I love the activities and objects the EP came with!
I've enjoyed looking around Jade Paradise and it is a beautiful world.
I definitely enjoyed playing with Shane.

I was disappointed about the lack of houses on the beach. If I was going to use it as a homeworld I would definitely want to build one.
I've actually never used a world that didn't have rabbitholes placed. I have all the rugs available and have used a few of those for a police station, a business that I built and a few others. But I've never downloaded the doors. I'm going to check the business's she built to see just what's available. I have not checked any of those buildings out yet. She did set buildings to add the rugs.

I think it is good we like different types. You know my normal guy is dark hair, blue eyes, beard. (all my guys basically and your Tyler, who I've been very good not to put a scruffy beard on. lol) But something about his blond self...I fell in love with him. Just like your gorgeous Alfarin. Think about Jamie. He's not dark hair or blue eyed but I him.
lol, Skye was making such funny faces. Shane was bewildered by the uni stuff. I did see a homeworld uni building in her world. I know you can set up a homeworld uni with settings from Nraas but I've not done that in any of my worlds. I may try it someday but if I want uni credit for my sims I give them a debug diploma.
I took a quick break on Supernatural Island to check out JP. I've got all the sims and families ready to go in the world. I've set up the Master save that has all the new venues and buildings and houses in it. I'm working out the kinks in SP. I did try adding a firestation because Diva's looked so fun, but when I found out only actives can benefit from it I decided not to use one. The world is way too big for one anyway. Someday I'll play a firefighter in another world/save.

I've been a little (lot) depressed and stressed recently for a variety of reasons and also busy with work and life so not able to play my Mary story like I want. I saw that thread and it sparked my imagination. I downloaded the world and checked out the venues already built. They are awesome! I needed a place to live for my testing family so started building in my spare time. I also volunteered to build for the world as time permits. The building process has helped get my spark back and hopefully will get back to writing Mary's story very soon!
I've been watching too many lifetime movies while doing paperwork and going through stuff here at the house. Going through stuff is partly why I haven't been commenting or writing my story. It is very hard and depressing deciding what to keep and what to donate. I want to keep it all, but can't. Because of covid so many places wouldn't take things and to be honest I couldn't get rid of hubby's stuff that first year. His car was taken away on Thursday and I cried like a baby. The lifetime movies inspired the short story. Working on the challenge helped center my emotions and deal with giving the car away.
I chose Ree Treave and Dee Tex as my sims to provide with makeovers. I thought Ree had some potential and my biggest issue with him is his ears. Much too big for my liking if they are not elvish ears! So I fixed his ears and let the rest alone. I did not turn him into an elf as I had a hankering for a cowboy. He got new hair and new skin and became the cutie cowboy I envisioned.
Dee has been made over a couple of times by others but she was actually my first pick when I saw the list so I stayed with her. I decided to fix her chin which is actually fixed with a jaw setting. I knew I could make her eyes better with just makeup. She got new skin and a new hair and much more confidence with her new look.
Ree and Dee, a Twinbrook romance.
Dee Tex grew up in Twinbrook and moved away for college. After graduation she returned to start a new life and hopes to find true love. At the gym she spots Ree her high school crush. Her heart pounds as she notices how he has changed from the gangly youth into the handsome man before her.
He nods to her as he stumbles onto the treadmill not recognizing her as Dee but struck by her beauty and the adorable freckles on her cheeks. He almost trips several times as he runs on the treadmill trying to keep up with the program he has set. He watches her surreptitiously as she goes through her routine admiring her figure and grace.
Ree finishes his session and watches for Dee downstairs near the exit. He made some fresh drinks and when she walks by he invites her to have a fresh drink. They talk for a long time getting to know each other again. Ree remembers Dee from high school as a shy girl who kept to herself. He reminded her about the group science project that they were involved in and because of her ideas the group got an excellent grade.
Dee hears the chimes from the ice cream truck and they race outside to enjoy a sweet treat. They spend the rest of the day walking and talking, neither wanting to say goodbye.
Ree invites her to dinner at the bistro and she happily accepts.
He invites her back to his place and shows her the view of the marsh from the balcony. She agrees that the marsh holds a beauty that only some can see.
Cuddling on the couch he nervously asks her to be his girl. Happily she accepts.
They lived happily ever after in the marsh, especially after discovering that 'bubbling crude' Ree found under his land brought in mega simoleans. I love happy endings!

I had so much fun fixing these two up and was pleasantly surprised at how nice they look with only one change. Thank you for the challenge @emorrill. I hope you enjoy the little story. I did all my Christmas shopping earlier today and should be wrapping presents. But, I really wanted to post these pictures today and I'll wrap later.
