Trait Switch up?

So I looked up Malcolm Harris (from Moonlight Falls) on sims wikia and he's supposed to have the following five traits: Genius, Supernatural Fan, Hates the Outdoors, Easily Impressed and No sense of Humor.
However, when I moved him in with Marigold Maldano (within the same town) his Supernatural Fan trait apparently switched to Evil.
I didn't know him well enough to tell whether he had the trait all along or if it spontaneously changed upon moving households. Any one else have a similar issue with any other Sims? Is this just a weird glitch?
