Can you mix and match digital and physical?

I bought the base plus all expansions on steam. I recently came upon a Katy Perry Sweet Treats Stuff pack act the thrift. (It was like 4 bucks, why not. I have to reistall the sims 3, but is it possible to play using both digital and physical?

You would need to retrieve the Origin codes from Steam and switch completely over to Origin with patch 1.69. Steam & Origin do not work together. Steam doesn't sell Katy Perry Sweet Treats so you're only option is on Origin if you want to play with it. Also, I believe patch 1.69 requires all packs to be registered to your account. If this Katy Perry Sweet Treats SP is second-hand, the code might already to registered to the previous owner.

Ah. So I wasted 4 bucks either way. Thanks anyway. It doesn't have any code in the box. I guess I can keep it as a collectors item lol

It would be difficult to install it without a code. Yeah, it's a retired SP so kind of fun to have anyway. I found a sealed copy around $20 USD on eBay but you would have to shop around to find a good deal/reputable seller. Not too often can it be found in good shape w/ code or sealed for a reasonable price since it's retired.

Yeah. I'll remember that in the future. Like I said, I saw it at the thrift I frequent and thought "hey, that seems like a neat deal." I thought I was super lucky. Ah, well, c'est la vie.
