It is sad indeed. and they do need to catch whoever this deranged fool Dorran is for sure, hopefully there will be no more death, but unfortunately, at this time, things don't look good.
What SimLit family is "normal"? Normal is 100% not a thing in SimLit families. Everyone's cursed (maybe in a sense Mikey got cursed from @AudreyFld 's story) /jk
@MadameLee I think it was the other way around truthfully, no doubt @AudreyFld and I have influenced and challenged one another in our various collabs lol...
A special thanks to @InfraGreen for her generosity and letting me use her character Enid, as well as my collaborator and good friend @AudreyFld who provided a bit of Enid's background in the Third Generation of New Beginnings
Even though this is a serious exposition chapter, I got a laugh at Jason's reference to being kidnapped by a 50 something year old man child that talked to god on a cell phone.
Also, part of me thinks that Rudy Baron knows something about all of this.
@VanPelt81
Yeah Jason seems to have a wit that can bring a chuckle even in the darkest of times.
Rudy very well may know more, and it's obvious he is against the Blakes, although not for the right reasons I suspect
@MadameLee Yes he looks much like his father in that hat.
With the way Jason smiled in a too happy to be sane way at the end of chapter 22 and how chapter 23 ended, part of me thinks he learned more than he has let on from a certain 50 some year old man-child that talked to God on a cell phone.
I can't wait to see the full rampage of crazy Insa...I mean Erratic Jason pulls in this. Perhaps he laughs at setting the world on fire much like this...
@VanPelt81 He does seem to have tipped into the abyss of madness for sure, does he have an actual plan? An Agenda? or does he just want to watch the world burn?
Just a quick note, I have gotten busy so the final six or so chapters of the The Hourglass might be a bit slow coming, but they will be coming. So stay tuned.
