What new hobbies or skills would you like to see.

«1
In the past Sims games we've seen lots of skills and hobbies. What would you like to see in the games?

We've had a makeover station, tattoo station, sculpture, car repair, nectar making, dancing, clothing design, we even had acting and runway modelling in the Sims 1. What else do you want to see?

I want ballet to come back! for adults and kids! I also really want to see ice and roller skating, and being able to do it outside the rinks as well, like up and down the street or even within the house as a phase for kids. Sewing might be another good one, with clothes you MUST make, you can't just have in CAS to provide incentive, and maybe even martial arts come back.

Yes to everything here. I would also love:
    - a flower arrangement skill. To give some use to the flowers already in game and have different new bouquets and stuff to decorate with.
    - candle and soap making (again, the flowers could be use)
    - scuba diving (altought for that we would need to be able to swim in bodies of water to start with)
    - old furniture restoration/stained glass
    - nectar/ olive oil making (would be perfect for a new Mediterranean world)
    - Robotics

I'd love more hobbies! I started a thread detailing a hobby-oriented game pack recently and commenters added several excellent ideas here.

I left out anything that might be considered a farm chore, like candle making, butter churning, etc, just in case it comes in a farm pack. Plus, I tend to think of farm related stuff as chores more than hobbies, but I do want those things too.

A simmer after my own heart. Love the idea of adding olive oil making with the nectar making to make a more Mediterranean feel. Plus the idea of the old furniture restoration sounds beautiful and I can see a grandpa sim making some furniture for their grandkids weddings as a gift. Absolutely lovely suggestions.

Honestly, I'd support anything, but here are some I'd really like to see:
    • Sketching
    • Vehicle repair and customization
    • Martial Arts/Swordplay/Proper Boxing
    • Building supercomputers
    • Dancing, especially slow dances and couple dances
    • Electric guitar
    • Inventing

I really hope they improve the sims 4 dancing, specifically slow dancing and actually have them dance together facing each other connected. The way it is now, it sucks, they can't even have a proper first dance at their wedding. Also, I'd love to see them bring back the drums and add some more cool instruments to play, but allow the kids to play as well.

Scuba diving, more instruments. Maybe even sewing, crocheting for the older sims. And if they ever include cars driving. Oh and riding skills for horses

I liked it before when you could play in a "band". It would be nice if there were several instruments in the same area and people could collaborate and play one song together and make use of the microphone for singing.
Also I agree with the dancing that needs to be more connected, i.e. slow dancing, facing one another.
