New player -- a couple of questions:

1. How do you rearrange furnture? I just built a new bedroom for my Sim's roommate, so I want to move one of the twin beds over to the new room. Also, I've still got a window on a wall that peeks into my kitchen, and I'd like to move it to a different wall that actually looks outside.

2. How do I clear the outside area? I did it by accident once but I don't remember what I did, and I've got that as one of my quests so I figure it'll be easy to do when I have Do Quests show up on my To Do list.

touch item with finger, hold on to it(it will do an arrow up animation) have option then, use the bottom icon(the 1 with "yin yang" like arrows) to move things around..

if its too hard. just go to edit room options and resize room to smallest possible and save. most stuffs would auto go into your bag then.

save item location/edit - press the tick icon

exit & save - press the X button bottom right

make sure to move away sims before you start edit. sims too near = cant edit

How can you get a visiting sim friend to leave your house? LOL My sim couple want to be alone but their friend won't go home!

When this occurs, try loading another world. Then load back to the home, and see if the issue remains.
