You can compare the specs of your tablet to the list ^ above that I got from EA support.

It's probably because your device isn't compatible. It's on the Play Store for download but you won't find it if your phone or tablet won't run it.

There is a list on https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Info-request-What-Android-device-are-you-running-the-game-on/td-p/6676802 of a lot of devices which should be able to run the game. The problem is though that some devices are on the list but give problems anyway. An example is the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017). I think that this phone ran some of the earlier versions of the game. But Google Play now seems to think that it is incompatible anyway.

The reason for this incompatibility differs. It can be:
    1. Too little free memory.
    2. Too little RAM.
    3. Too slow a CPU.
    4. Too slow a GPU or some other missing requirement to the GPU.
    5. Other problems with the graphics.

It is like computers. Not all new computers are able to run the new games. Cheap computers usually aren’t. So people buy dedicated gaming computers instead. The Sims Mobile is alas one of the first app games that requires something like a top model of a phone or tablet to be able to run at all. Cheap phones and cheap tablets therefore usually don’t work for this game.

I don't care if my tablet is not at what they consider minimum it runs the game just fine. So why force me to side load it when it runs fine save a bit pixelated?

Shoot. My tablet is incompatible too, and that's what I was hoping to try it on.

I already had the game before it came out in the US, but it told me I had to update and now my device is not compatible even though it was before it was released. I was a level ten. Is there any other way to download it/update it?

    Also, I'm using a Galaxy tab e.

It’s a little sloppy on my iPhone X. Sometimes when I’m in build mode, it’s hard to change the colors of items because they are blocked by the cell phone signal bar.

You can read about this on apkpure.com. But their app isn’t supported by Google Play because it ignores all regional restrictions and other things. Therefore it can only be downloaded from their own website. But they allow you to install and update the game. They don’t guarantee that it will run without problems on a device which Google thinks is incompatible though. But often it will anyway just with minor graphical problems.

While I was looking for something else I ran across this article about android for PC and Mac.

    https://windowsreport.com/best-android-emulators-windows-10/

To tell the truth I had never even thought an android platform for PC or Mac. Does anyone one know if these are safe? No hidden bits like malware?

I'm asking people with more computer knowledge than I have because when searching I found pros and cons. Some of those were articles several years old. This article was just put out a couple of weeks ago.

Has anyone been able to figure out any why The Sims Mobile isn't compatible with the LG Aristo? The apk works, but not the game.

I don't have a Samsung device, but I'm curious which one(s) are affected? Someone I know has an older Galaxy phone and I was thinking of recommending the game to them, but am now wondering if the game would even be compatible on it?

I'm running the game off a device that's running Android 6 on it (it won't upgrade past that, as it's an older device) and can get it also running on my old phone that has Android 5 (which can't be upgraded any further).

However, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the game eats up a huge amount of battery?

Generally older devices and cheap devices can’t run this game. But new highend devices can.

This is the simple answer though. So you should goto https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Info-Compatibility-on-Android-devices/td-p/6678650 if you want more details.

This is an FYI for Kindle tablet owners. I just bought one of the 10 inch tablets and when I was reading the specs I saw that some kindles will accept a Google framework that lets you access the play store. I bought this one with a Quad-core 1.8 GHz processor.

    https://www.amazon.com/All-New-Amazon-Fire-HD-10-Inch-Tablet-32GB-Blue/dp/B01M6YJEAH/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525450239&sr=8-3&keywords=10+inch+kindle+tablet

I then followed the instructions here https://the-digital-reader.com/2017/09/24/can-install-google-play-2017-fire-tablets-less-5-minutes/
and I found I was able to download Sims mobile.

The one I bought was $189 because I went for the 64GB. So you don't have to have a pricey android tablet to get Sims Mobile. I haven't played it yet because I'm still loading the tablet and getting all my apps in play. I'll let you know if there are any problems.

Before I bought one I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab A that won’t run that game and an Amazon Fire Tablet 8 inch that won’t run it either so I know I’m lucky to have had the money to buy one.

It runs on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 too.

But the Tab A model from Samsung is likely too cheap for this game. Older devices like my old iPad 2 won’t run the game either.

Where is Sims Mobile? :) Its on the Main menu of your Sims 4 game.
Log into your Sims 4 game on your computer, go to where it shows all your packs. Go to free Packs and download Sims mobile just add your phone number. Clue?

Maybe its not always about trying to fix something broken.
Sometimes its about starting over and creating something better.

I have the newer ipad and its the first ipad I have gotten ever. I think the Samsung Galaxy Tab A just doesn't have enough ram to run it. It only has 1.5 gb of ram in the device.
