My guess is it's like a cape cod or New England style but I'm not 100% sure

The specific style is called "gambrel". This architectural style can be seen on the following houses in Brindleton Bay: Chataeu Frise (Delgato), It's A Good House (Hecking), Domus Familiarus, and Hound's Head. It features a distinct barn-style roof. Gambrel style is sometimes used in Cape Cod architecture but most Cape Cod-style buildings do not feature this roof style. The other homes (Bedlington Boathouse and Ragdoll Refurb) and the commercial buildings in Brindleton Bay are more of a traditional Cape Cod-style.

Primarily Cape Cod (i.e. Bedlington Boathouse) and Dutch Colonial (i.e. Hound’s Head). Gambrel is the name for the roof style used on barns and Dutch Colonials.
