Bernard and Mimsy Moved In

Hey folks!

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I've allowed townies to move into houses randomly (gameplay settings, right?) Anyway, I noticed that these two moved into Willow Creek, which doesn't make any sense.



This is Bernard and Mimsy from the Van Haunt Estate. I had no idea that they could move into a home lot. Is this a glitch? Why is their last name listed as Higgins, but neither of them have a last name?

I play TS4 on a MacBook Pro 2015. I play on nearly all low settings, and I use no mods or CC. I have the Parenthood GP, Toddlers SP, and Get Together EP.

They shouldn’t move into Willow Creek. They may be a duplicate copy of them. Is there another copy of them at Van Haunt Estafe?

I haven't checked @rosemow. But, I can open my game and go check it out.

Alright, I went to the Von Haunt Estate, and both of them are still there, it seems.




Is it possible this has something to do with the family tree ghost glitch? Since there was some tinkering with the household management in the latest patch, maybe Bernard and Mimsy got tagged differently by an accident?

It may be best to go to manage households and delete the extra copy that have moved into Willow Creek..

I’m a little scared that deleting them from the household will cause my game to corrupt or something @rosemow. I think I might post on the EA help forums sometime today and see if other folks are having the same problem. If I find out anything, I might post back here thank you for helping me.

I've got a thread on the EA bug area up now

@joRN1414 it's pretty strange, eh? I haven't tried playing them because I'm scared I'll mess up my game. I'm just leaving them as is for now, and hopefully I'll hear back from somebody soon!

But they're game-generated NPCs that are already dead!
