Since there is a "Get to work"-pack, and also possible to own a restaurant, I would like it to be possible to work as a chef in the restaurant and have it as an actual career besides just owning it and be polite to customers. Also, there is some improvement to do for the times when you only want to be the owner, and have time for a SEPARATE career. The restaurant is supposed to be able to "run itself" if you educate the staff, but if you're not there there it's close to zero income and always bad reviews. No matter how high standards or good staff you've left it with (applies to all kinds of companies, not only restaurants).

I would really want to have a feature where when you explore the beach cave (in the island living expansion pack) it takes you to some kinda hidden mermaid grotto or something interesting like that! I think it would be really cool!!

If NPC story progression becomes a thing, I would love for them to be able to have children on their own! It takes a long time to add families to the game if you want different ages in the game at all times for your family to befriend... Additionally, these features of story progression would be great: forming friendships + romantic relationships, getting married/divorced, getting jobs/promotions, gaining skills... :)

Hope Sims creator will make a toddler pack /expansion for children were toddlers can swim by using a floaters, it would also be great if there is an option for pre teen after child. Thanks ☺️

I would like to be able to accept invitations from other sims (do you want to come to my birthday party? etc) without dropping everything I'm doing and going there directly. If friends ask if I want to hang out tonight at a nightclub at 4 pm, why not have it like in TS3 where you got an invite, accepted it, and then it started 5 hours later, u know? So I can hire a nanny and make food and plan outfits and stuff and not just be thrown over there. I always have to decline invites because of this, would be much appreciated if this was re-done if it is even possible. Would add to gameplay.

I so miss the way Sims 3 used to do things that Sims 4 can't do.

I agree with a lot of previous posts we need more makeup and something to Contour their face more because their facial features aren't defined enough, or they could improve their features? without makeup their faces look... i dunno... blurry i guess?.

I also think we need more Country items too and a couple decent wooden tables some longer and some Space Saving and we can recolor them to different wood shades, i especially love very shiny wood tables like some Pubs have it feels so classy and fancy and i LOVE really shiny dark wooden floors like in more expensive apartments in America, those are my dream floors and would be AMAZING! to put those in TS4 and make those a few different shades too. I love the Bohemian style too and would be great for Tiny Houses.

    >

Can you not build Hotels or Vacation Homes on Generic Lots? i've read you can and our Sims can sleep over too you just set the Generic Lot to Private Dwelling, although there's apparently a bug with it where a lot of Sims still visit it LOL i hope they fix that very very soon, i think Generic Lots are great for Cabins too but you can't use them for Parties and Celebrations.

I have a relatively small suggestion, actually it's only 2 lines of code that would need to change. I've said this previously and in the mean time looked up what caused the problem and fixed it for my own game. But this is something that should be fixed in the game. The issue is with University pack. I get it that stoves and grills aren't allowed on lots because of fire hazard. What makes no sense though, is that sims can't cook using the fridge. On any other lot, if you remove the stove, you can still cook via the fridge menu and make salads, sandwiches etc. The problem is that microwave food gives you a negative buff and the randomly spawned food is like 99% junk food and makes your sims go fat in no time. I don't want to feed my sims off lobster thermidor and cookies! Also there's heaps of food being brought in and with eco living coming we really should do something about food waste at universities..

Now the problem with the fridge is basically just two lines of code that need to be removed to be enable us to use the cooking menu on the fridge. There's no hazard to sims making salads after all? The problem is that someone actually blacklisted university lots from accessing the cooking menu on the fridges. Double kill, since stoves can't be built anyways.. I'd love to see this in a regular update as it is a really easy fix and it makes no sense as it is.

    fridge_Cook code line 479

    fridge_CookGourment code line 307

What about Community Lots? can i still put a Grill or Stove in there? i don't have any of the packs so don't know if that Bug would effect me but we can make a Bar and then cook for the NPCs to pretend it's a sort of Café/Bar but... if they blacklisted grills and stoves i may not be able to do that but if that's just for University Lots then i should be fine i guess, i mean you can add Grills in parks right?.

More rabbit hole careers would be great, Npc careers like Maid or Bartender as if you marry one of those sims as soon as they move into your household they're unemployed!

Improved photography, the ability to take family portraits or hire in a photographer to document events and weddings/take portraits.

Art gallery opening style parties where you can display work you've made and have people buy it in a more formal setting.

    Improved weddings!

I think any of the university lots have this specification. It goes for dorms as well as normal on campus housing and the community lots have a cafeteria but no stoves either. So yes, you can grab food there but not cook either. Basically yes, you could add a park but with the number of lots in the map quite limited and you having to swap maps every time you want to cook (plus my sims lose the stuff they bring with them half the time, so they couldn't even take it home with them afterwards). It's just not practical. I think it is enough to not allow stoves. I don't see any logical reason to forbid sims to make salads or sandwiches on campus. And the routine is there, if a lot doesn't have a stove you can still access the cook menu on the fridge and anything that would need a stove gets greyed out. So they could really just use that instead of blacklisting the complete cook menu.

Could we have cheaper expansion, game, and stuff packs?

I think i may not get this specification then since i don't have University or any packs, i'm absolutely not buying Get Together cos it's the same thing it's just an Espresso & Food Stand with cups of coffee and plates of food lol i love it when a Chef actually cooked the food, the waiter took your order with a Notebook and then brought your order in a fancy silver tray and was like "Wullah!" :'( that would be a god send if they brought that back.

There are two things at work. One is that all university lots can't have stoves or grills. This is a build mode specification like building a park makes it mandatory to have a bathroom. And I think this alone would be enough but they added a blacklist on top of that which prevents you from accessing any cook menu on a fridge. This means that you also can't make salads which you normally can on a lot without a stove.

Yeh i get that i think just a simply cafeteria makes it boring, i've played The Sims 2 University (no matter how briefly lol cos it's a 1 time thing), i liked there was a cook there that made food for the sims and it didn't matter there was some food waste to me cos the sims ate most of the food anyway... they really really need to put that back for you because all you needed was a Shiney Town Stove.

Hello! I would love to see new Vacation worlds for us simmers! Beach Vacation or Exotic Vacation (Rain Forest) and more Interactive Jobs like a Fishing Boat Captain (Just spit balling here lol).

More in depth interactions between sims, other sims asking you out, being proposed to, fights randomly breaking out at bars and people cheering (like in sims 2), burglars, werewolves, fairies, unpredictable outcomes to interactions, more interactions for every category, carnival themed gameplay, casinos, and larger worlds that offer more exploration.

I wish that the limit of sims gave the option to bypass that limit and add over 200, and yes, I know it has the option to add after 200 but, maybe in the future, it would be an option that doesn't bother the gameplay...

Especially with Tiny Living and Eco Lifestyle, I would love for sims to be able to share a double bed against the wall. Also, bunkbeds would be helpful.

Also, a farming pack with chickens, maybe goats and sheep! A few more growable produce items, longer rectangular planters like 2 square ones together. I really want to see the option for canning at the stove to save making a canning station, and a dehydrator. A different version of the selling table that looks like a produce stand would be cute too!

EA has grown away from a lot of the things they succeeded at. They obviously don't care about what their customers want or would like to see, as they created their own selfish list and asked us what we'd like to see. That limits our interest and curiosity to see what's next, two negative approaches to bringing in more buyers and maintaining interest. I saw this post a while back and thought I'd rekindle this:

    CAS ITEMS
Body Hair for Men (hopefully coming soon with if that poll's anything to go off.)
    Robes
Sweatshirts and sweatpants (Tiny Living was a good start, but my thirst for comfortable winter clothing is unending!)

    ITEMS
    Pool Table
    Pinball Machine
Gambling Items (slot machine, poker table, roulette wheel)
    Bunk Beds
Golf Items (both the driving range from TS3 and the Execuputter from TS2)
Exerto Punching Bag (back from TS2, functions like the punching bags in the game now
    Spiral Staircases
    Staircase Chairlift
    CAREERS
Magician (Stage Magician and Sorcerer career paths)
Fortune Teller (Soothsayer and Scam Artist paths)
Professional Wrestler (Superstar and Booking Team paths)
Game Developer (Programmer and Artist paths)
Heroism (Good Simaritan and Superhero paths)
Nectar Vintner (Master of the Vines and Connoisseur paths)

    GAMEPLAY FEATURES
    Turn-ons and Turn-offs
Favorites (color, music genre, book genre, etc.)
    Interests
    Elders-specific gameplay.

    TOWN STYLES
    Mountainous town
European town (cottages, victorian connected condos/homes)
    Vegas

While it's difficult to compete against the Sims, unless you guys actually consider what the customers want in a game, or there will be a game that comes out with vehicles, garages, elevators, and other necessities that Sim'mers want in a video game, that YOU put in your games prior. Time to Nut up or Shut up EA. do the right thing

I think the problem with ugly townies should be already fixed.

Every sim week I have to go and change all the other's families sims outfits and sometimes it can cost me 3/4 hours long.

I don't know ofcourse if that's possible but in my eyes a right solution to fix this could be giving us an ability to create and remove styled outfits and add an option that the NPC's would wear only styled outfits.

It's so nice you ask these questions to the community <3

What I really miss in the University Expansion Pack: A Grade meter. You probably really thought it through with the 'check status' option, but I miss the good old green bar on the side that shows how well my grades are.. I have the feeling that i'm spending too much time studying now..

    YES.
Bunkbeds & Spiral Staircases would have been IDEAL in this pack.
