    About traits and activities

Every sims are the same no matter how I choose their personalities. for example, mean trait, my sim just act normally to other sims and living out the same like every other sims. Sims who have a romantic relationship also react the same to their partner. Sims who have a bad relationship turn out to acting the casually (just like other sims) to the sim they hate (my sims in older sims game become angry thinking about the sims they hate). Make-up and style in the game are already good (I currently want a tiara). However, I recommend the staff to think about spicing things up for the game play. Sorry this might be a little ideas for you but I would love for the game to have a little detail for a little drama LOL.

    Hello

I just got back into The Sims & Just Got My two Main Sims Handiness Levels 7-8 and I Noticed We Can't Wire The Hole House For Sounds home Theater / Movie Pack I would like to see This as an option put in, I Mean it was great in sims 3 I could choose which speaks I wanted wired!
And I guess the Concert speakers came From The University Pack & Love I would Love to wire them to the Stereo to Play the Same Song Since All my Sims Don't Hold Focus from on task I want them to Do and All They want to do is Dance!

    And Since Torture is Fun!😈
I'd to Have That Option Back in Especially for the mischief/prank Behavior Wheel!

It was Some Times Fun in real Life it Would Really Seeing The Reactions of Sims Especially When There Sleeping & green the whole House Is Awoken By Music That's Loud.......Already Still LMAO.......Come on Added it in Plz in an update that Would really Make A lot of Simmers Totally Ecstatic!!👏😄😈

    Thank You 4 Reading!!

I want everything we had in previous packs. I want the same game with improvements. I don't know why the Sims 4 team is so obsessed with new themes. Some people may want new things and that's fine, but give us what we had as well. I would welcome new themes after I get everything we had in previous versions of the game.

I want Generations, themes focused on life stages and extended family.

I want hotels. If we can't have a new vacation world, give us hotels. Let us place them in any world we want. Sims could take a vacation in any of the worlds we already have. Though a ski resort or beach resort would be most welcome.

Amusement parks and casinos would be nice. More for Sims to do.

I know a lot of people want farming. I could work with that. I definitely wouldn't mine it and would buy it.

I do agree - it feels like they started doing unexpected packs too soon. There are still some highly requested features that haven't been put in the game yet... generations, farming, etc. I for one would love a travel/resort pack similar to TS3 World Adventures.

Personally, I would like to see either an expansion pack or a game pack that allows you to create, run, and stay at a hotel/b&b. I would also like to see werewolves added to the game. 🐺 🏯 🏣🏠

    > The AI seriously needs tweaking unless there are mods that can do just that. I can't stand watching the Sims getting up from their tables, WHILE THEY'RE EATING, just to binge on TV while having their meal. It's annoying, especially in performing stupid tasks like getting drinks from the fridge, all while watching TV when NOT eating. Seriously, its nerve-wracking.

This is why I have no TVs in any of my sims builds. You can turn the TV around when you're not using it or put it in your inventory. You can also turn off autonomy in settings so your sims may only do what you tell them to, (annoying I know) but at least there are solutions. So many things in the game that don't have any comparable solutions or even mods.

    LANDLORD CAREER EXPANSION

I’d absolutely love to be able to be a landlord in the game, as a main career or a side gig!

    Either by:
    • Buying/building whole apartment buildings and renting out individual units; including having potential tenants show up and approving them, having to perform landlord duties like maintenance, collect rent, or refill vacancies when people move out.

    or

    • Building a basement or add-on unit/granny flat to your home and renting it out to help cover bills. This option would come with minor landlord responsibility, minor maintenance etc.

As a career you’d be able to get “promoted” by improving your handiness/repair skills and your charisma, collecting rent on time, performing maintenance tasks in a timely manner etc. Promotions would perhaps give you options to increase rent, attract better tenants, hire cleaning/maintenance staff, or direct deposit rent.

I’d also love the option to rent rooms or apartments from NPC sims, instead of buying a lot or house or renting an apartment from City Life. I’d like to be able to rent a place anywhere in the world.

    Thanks!

    REGARDING PETS!

We NEED an option to hire regular dog walkers, pet sitters etc!

If you can hire regular gardeners and maids, you should be able to hire one time or scheduled dog walkers for when you’re at work. Same with when going on vacation, hiring a pet sitter for when you’re away, or someone to go in and feed and give your pets attention if you’re working. The butlers don’t take care of pets, and we currently can’t have the kids take dogs for walks (despite being able to travel to school and parks on their own). I love having pets in TS4, but it needs to reflect real life a little more.

Also, it would be SO fun to have an animal shelter career expansion! Ideally being able to both travel there as a sim wanting to meet and adopt animals, and open one as a business yourself and follow your sims to work, like you can as a doctor etc.
You’d have to perform shelter duties like getting animals spayed and vaccinated, clean enclosures, adopt pets out, go out and pick up strays when you have vacancy. Promotion by pet training skill, veterinarian skill, etc. It would also be great to have the option to have teen and adult sims volunteer there; performing cleaning and care duties etc!

    Thanks for reading!

I want to see a little more in the way of job types. Blue collar options, factory workers, fabricators, mechanics, etc. I want to see more jobs like teachers and such. Some "dangerous" jobs like being a firefighter, police officer (sorry Detective, you didn't quite cut it) and EMT. Saving people should be a thing. more jobs where you actually go to the job with the Sim, there's very few of those.

I also want to see more middle class and poverty reflected in the game. Everything's a Utopia. There's not enough strife in the game. To quote the Lego movie, in this game "Everything is Awesome!" but there's not much outside of playing house and life is a little less Utopian than all this.

I'd like to see cars. Everyone walks everywhere. There's some cars as static objects and cars simulated on some roads but nothing you can actually get in and go with. Bikes too.

More building types. There weren't really restaurants unless you made your own and when you went to like a saloon or whatever which isn't even a proper restaurant there really was no proper dining mechanics. Apartment buildings to live in, what about all the renters?

Also WAY more personality traits and modifiers. The traits themselves need to have an intensity setting like high/medium/low. A person who's a kleptomaniac shouldn't be going nuts over stealing something every 5 seconds, a person that's hot headed shouldn't have to be in an angry mode several times a day every day. Like if you want that then put it on high but if you want it to just surface occasionally put it on medium or low so their lives aren't completely taken over by fighting their traits.

I also wouldn't mind seeing first person mode worked over for Sims 5. I like going into first person mode to see interactions play out and it's cool to see them in their full environment. But I can't really select interactions in this mode and have to back out to do so

YES!!!! We need hotels! And running a b&b or in and being able to furnish and maintain guest rooms etc! Create, run and stay is key! As a career option or as a guest, this is definitely something the game has needed for ages!

Some form of TS4 Medieval, or a separate series focused on a different time period for TS4 since I'm sure it'll never happen in the game as it is now.

One time I was in CAS and I stumbled upon Sims that I had deleted, so I think there is a way you can find Sims that you think are lost. I just don’t remember which tab it was under.

Something I would really like to see in the game, that has been a major issue for me during gameplay of Sims 2,3 and now 4, is a logical way to organize downloaded content in my library.

I wish there were folders in my library where I could put "Sims I downloaded for my game" and "Sims my kids downloaded" and "houses I downloaded to use in Willow Creek" vs. "Houses I downloaded to use in Forgotten Hollow" or some other form of organization. Currently I just have to scroll through pages and pages of content to try to find things. It would be nice to be able to put them into some sort of logical pattern or organized folders! (If there is already a way to do this and I just don't know about it, please enlighten me!)

Hopefully somebody out there is listening! It seems like this would be a relatively simple update that could be done and it would undoubtedly appeal to many other players!

    Thanks!

Yes I agree @Tragedygrl ! would love to be able to organize my library of rooms, lots and households in separate folders. I have downloaded fantasy/occult type builds & sims, mid century modern builds, ultra modern builds, island beach shacks, etc. I would be so helpful if I arrange them in folders instead of scrolling through the huge mess that is my library.

made a super long thread on what the sims 4 is lacking imo, it sounds a bit harsh but I do really mean it in a constructive way especially since we know that the sims 5 is coming.

I would love to see a "Game Night" expansion. Here's how this would work:

Adds the ability to schedule a weekly, bi weekly or monthly recurring social event where you choose friends to come over at a certain time for a game night.

Choose from several game types: Tabletop RPG (basically generic Dungeons and Dragons clone with dice, sheets and battlemap with some miniatures) Monopoly style generic clone, Twister style generic clone, card games such as Poker, etc. Card games such as generic variant on Cards Against Humanity, etc. Generic version of Pictionary. A few other styles of game could be included too.

New items, furniture and clothing added. T-shirts with polyhedral dice on them, cards on them, etc. New furniture such as a poker table, card table, vaulted gaming table, small snack fridge, etc. Purchase gaming supplies, snacks, etc. New food items like chips and dip and 6 pack of soda or beer.

Adds moodlets for social and fun gaming. Possibly add a trait or two. Gaming night could even be a form if social event like a date or job where you have to fullfill certain conditions for better outcomes. Examples could be; socialize for an hour, get drinks for table, get snacks for table, read the game rules for 10 minutes, debate game rules with 1 Sim, encourage 1 Sim playing the game, praise 1 Sim playing the game, come up with an inspired DM story, successfully role play, etc.

I'd like the Acting career in Get Famous to be fixed since I paid $40 for it and its beyond a joke that it's been broken for over a month

Would like to see Off the grid getting fixed.

You choose a eco style way of living, but you get tense from using sinks etc.for 3 hours! you should feel good about yourself for conserving water.

Off the grid items, labeled with "works off grid" does'nt work off the grid, needs plumbing... seriously? Tubs, showers and sinks. Collecting rainwater in a tank (upgradeable via handiness) to use in sinks and toilets should be a given for off grid.

Pay 2500 for a stove that can cook grilled cheese and egg and toast.+ the fridge for 2700ish. need more recepies+baking.
I understand that the outdoor BBQ can cook more yes, but a stove with that pricetag should be able to do more.
In Real life that stove can easyly handle turkey dinner for thanksgiving and below.

Serious lack of lighting options. missing chandeliers with candles, wall mounted candles/scoones. alot of items that should work off grid does'nt.
Adding candle crafting in the new eco pack smells like "oh we forgot that in living off grid, lets add that to the next pack and have them pay double" We have bee hives, why cant we make wax candles with a life time?

a Dedicated tab in "search by function" exclusively to Off the grid items.

We need more off-the-grid objects like bathtubs, all the candles, more sinks, more fridges, cookable fireplaces, typewriters,
    olden days record players,
    olden days telephones, newspapers,
    claymaker wheel, woodshop, silkmaker,
natural dyes, shoemaker, olden days tea pots, olden days coffee pots &
    olden days sewing machine.

A Cellphone toggle to make the cellphone disappear.

Was just about to make a post asking for the manual Typewriter, thumbs up for that one!
And i totally agree with the candles especially, we got bee's, they have wax...
However adding more tubs etc, i rather see that they fix the ones we have allready before adding more stuff that does'nt work anyway off grid.

It would be cool if you had a CHOICE with the mobile. since you can allready travel with it, i cant see why a mobile mast cant reach it so we can call from it. It will ofc be added to the bills, for a mobile sub.
The icon itself seems embedded in the UI, so removing it i highly doubt we will see.

Would like to see more Instruments

Contrabass (Big Violin thingy standing on the floor)

Flute There are 2 choices here, the normal one you blow into holding it out in front of you, or the one you blow into and holding out to the side) would prefer to have both with the first one locked to skill level 1-5 and the other one is high skill 5-10 If we can only get one type i would take the last one, def the best looking.

Drums How can you be a Rock star without drums....?

    Tuba/Trumpet/Clarinet/Obo/Trombone Any Hornblower really.

Please add rabbits to the pet pack! In a similar way to dogs and cats. Reasons behind this, there are tons of different breeds (just like dogs and cats), they are the third most popular pet, you can have them hop around the house and use litterbox, and have the ability to teach them tricks!

    DEL SOL VALLEY
Way too small world with only few empty lots. As with so many worlds, the city is beautiful but what the f is going on with only 6 lots, and none of them is fully empty?
An update with more empty lots by the riverside and on the mountains would be great... and I know I'm not the only one disappointed

Fashion aside, I'd actually like to see IUI and IVF introduced to pregnancy options for Single by Choice mothers. Pregnancy clothes and a pregnancy pack would be interesting. One that introduced the sims version of 8-9 month pregnancy and premature infants. You have toddlers and parenthood... both are cute, but some heavier details would be highly antiquated. The ability to choose 🐸🐸🐸🐸 donors in the game and ethnicity. It's just an idea 💡.
