    TRADE SYSTEM
I would like to see a commerce type of system for the crafted items like one sim raises llamas and can sell the wool to her neighbor that knits. One sim grows strawberries but doesn't care for canning and can sell them to her friend that likes to make jam. The sim who makes jam can sell it to her neighbor who has a retail store. Where there is actually trade that can go on between sims and between households. I would like to have my sims participate in trade with others but something not so pointless and frustrating as the retail stores as they are now.

    DIRECT MAIL
I would like my sims to be able to mail things directly to each other. There are the auto gifts a sim receives from their family when they have a birthday and random fan mail. Why not be able to click on the mailbox and mail any item in my sim's inventory to anyone they know. Families helping each other complete collections, kids mailing drawings to their grandparents, there is lots of cool things that could happen there.

    INSTANT FIGHT
When a strange sim just walks into my house and starts stealing my stuff i don't want to have to go through 3 hrs of rude introductions and insulting and waggling my finger and shaking my butt at an intruder in my house. I want to fight and make them leave with their tail between their legs. Not like i want a violence mod. No one has to die. There doesn't need to be any blood or guts. The present dust cloud will do, but i want to be able to instantly fight intruders and keep fighting until they leave. I don't think that is too much to ask.

    WORKING PACIFIERS/Binkies
Toddlers with passies are so friggin cute but the only way to have them now is CC and they are not functional. I would love to have functional pacifiers that toddlers can randomly use and put away or walk around with in their mouths then put away when they eat or are tired of using. Wondering if the new infants will have something like this.

    INDIVIDUAL SIM MOOD TUNING ADJUSTMENT
It would be nice if i could tune down the super strong tons and tons of inspired and playful moodlets that my kids and toddlers keep getting that keeps them in constant trouble. Adults too. When taking a bath or putting on clean clothes makes a sim die of hysterics, that just a little too much. I have emotional deaths turned off thru MCCC but i can't do anything about the toddlers and kids that keep acting like doodoo. Ive even swept the house and cleared it of any inspiring or playful decor that i could get rid of. Also, when the grannies come over and are in a flirty mood are all squirming and purring when they are talking to the kids and toddlers and their own children......its just gross.

I still hope to see these added before the end of The Sims 4 lifespan:
    - Pool tables (Discover University would've been the perfect opportunity to add them but we never got them, but hopefully they can still be in a future pack)
    - Cars/garage doors (unlikely at this point but I can still hope)
    - Spiral stairs
    - Curved pools
    - More pool items (diving board, pool slide, pool bar)
    - Hotels/resorts

I'd wanna see a changing table and infants' skills in base game because without this content, this new life stage is pretty useless and is more of a nuisance.
  • pingvinskinpingvinskin Posts: 4 New Member
I also think that the age slide like the one we had in ts3 would be great, cause rn we're forced to play very rigid life spans.
  • TheStrongOneTheStrongOne Posts: 10 New Member
I'd wanna see diapers and bottles not automatically getting dumped on the floor after feeding/changing babies, etc. If solution is an item to prevent this, the items needs to be base game for basic gameplay.

Additionally, having infant skills should be part of base game, just like any other age that is part of basegame. Without these details, it doesn't make sense to spend time on an extra lifestage bc it creates extra work but doesn't bring any benefits to gameplay.

    Hello
Im probalby way to late but as a person that likes to create herself in sims 4. I would love it if you guys could please get longer hair. My hair reaches my butt and it would be great if those type of hair would be added. Also a hight changer. Doesnt need to be to crazy. Just a tiny bit to make everything more diverse.

And also i would love to be able to buy a drumset and base guitar to get my sims into a band. Would be fun please

Was in another thread which turned out to be ancient so figured I'd suggest it here instead. Landlines please as an option. (And remember, gentle reader, if you don't use a landline, that's fine but some of us still have them/use them. Or want to tell a story from a time where they were ubiquitous. So please allows us that creativity. Also, cellphones as optional. My simmies would like to get away to nature without their boss/work friends calling them when they're meant to be on a family vacation. Also a self sufficiency a la 'The Good Life' (known as Good Neighbours in the US) would be amazing and cellphones wouldn't exactly work with that)

I would love to see the option for a sim to volunteer to become a surrogate!! In the phone, under volunteer, it would say "Volunteer for Surrogacy" with a binky emblem....whatever you call it....

I love the infants update however when I tell my sim to go home from another lot or even walk around while holding the baby the sims put the baby on the ground and walk away. I am so having issues with the adults, teens, butlers, nanny's ect bothering the babies and letting them out of the crib/portable crib right after they fall asleep... I don't want to play a game where the babies are constantly crying because sims won't leave them alone. For outdoor retreat I had to leave the babies outside in their cribs due to being unable to bring them in the tent.

I would also like to add a suggestion or 2 for the kits/stuff packs to be more functional. I have just purchased the little campers kit and didn't expect the movie screen to go berzerk at the first drop of rain since its not an item you can just choose to put into inventory, the kids fort/tent is not rain proof, the pillow in the pack is just a decoration I assumed it would be able to be usable for laying on the floor hanging out or laying on the floor/ground reading since theres also a pop up book included (which to my disappointment is just a decoration) or taking a nap and unless I missed it somewhere I'd love to see a functional sleeping bag (I also have outdoor retreat and I don't see sleeping bags) .

There are objects from the Sims 3 I'd love to see brought into the Sims 4 such as the bubble blowing table and horses which were included in the Sims 3 pets expansion. I love Sims 4 and I truly hope instead of phasing out the game after a few years that you just keep improving the Sims 4 with patch updates and new expansions and stuff packs that way we can just keep updating our current game instead of needing to start over from scratch expansions and all. I'd be more willing to keep expanding my game knowing it wasn't going to be replaced with a new version and I wouldn't feel the packs cost too much because they'd soon be obsolete like previous versions.

I would like to have mission choices similar to Monster Hunter World, where the game generates randomly generated missions related to the base game or expansion packs, and as a player, I can select which mission to finish.

By completing these missions, I would earn points that I could use to purchase items such as a Sim Statue, a gargantuan statue that I could decorate with items obtained from the missions. This statue would represent my collective accomplishments in the game. For instance, earning enough points in base-game missions would enable me to purchase a cement Sim Statue, which I could then upgrade to a marble, gold, or sapphire statue (from completing more base-game missions).

Earning enough points from Growing Together-related missions, would enable me to purchase a Kids and Toddler statue to place next to my main statue, and purchasing enough points in the Cats and Dogs expansion pack would allow me to buy a Cats and Dogs statue, and so on. Some items must be exceedingly difficult to obtain for hardcore fans, and there should be a variety of items (e.g., 200 items) to keep completionists occupied.

With these items, I could expand my statue into a diorama or museum-like display. Essentially, it's like a standardized-badge-to-brag system, but in the form of items (statues) - which I find more exciting and fulfilling.

Anyway, please make it possible for players to choose which Sims to represent the statue. Plus, it should be more difficult for cheaters to buy points. If a player uses cheats during a mission, then the mission should disappear, forcing them to start over. Finally, the statue, add-ons, and other accessories should be immune to cheating, i.e., they cannot be spawned using cheats.

Sorry if this doesn't exactly go here but I Have Tried Everything in an attempt to place a post or find a place where my issue is meant to go and am a bit frustrated.
Let me begin by saying I had an account under a different email and username that I had been using for a long time, but which apparently has been taken over by some other email implying that the account was disabled by ea. Honestly I need to talk to someone about a lot of things but I'm here to talk about the game. I mention this only because it was an older account which would have allowed me to make my own post and not having to put anything in the wrong spot.
My game issues as of late are this and I Must bring this to light because it has been driving me nuts. I like to play with full autonomy on, its been no problem I manage my households tightly so I can cancel anything I don't want them to do. However, these last few days of heavy sims play has me noticing more and more than sims no longer tell you what they're fixing to do until they're already doing it. This is very, very bad in my opinion for a few reasons. One of my biggest issues is that sims will immediately route away from where I have just told them to stand. Literally need them to stand there and they have this ghost action queued that I can't stop and is contrary to what I want them to be doing. This may be an understandable thing, but the examples go on. They will start walking across the house with no bubble in their queue and it won't show up until they sit down about to use the computer to troll forums(which I, capitol H, Hate them doing), or go to the fridge to get something to eat, or cook, and I don't know which one until they get there. The biggest icing on the cake that has brought me to place this here is the child's play tent from the stylist designer interior decorating pack I think. This tent allows children and toddlers to sleep in it, so because I got twins I decided to use this tent as a twin bed for them. I knew beforehand that adults and teens could play as the monster at the play tent, but frankly every time that interaction has been used that children and toddlers all vacate the tent angry that they were scared. What's up with that? Why isn't it just like the play structures? But that's not my problem, I just don't understand that bit. My problem is this: my toddlers were sleeping peacefully, I was observing their teenage eldest sister as she ate a snack or whatever while sitting on her bed, basically watching the toddlers sleep in the tent, and No Bubble came up. She got up and Scared the twins awake. I was shocked and furious because now they couldn't sleep and where both tired. I immediately pause the game and go to mom thinking she can scold the teen for such a horrible act. No, she can't. What do I do? I go to the elder of the twins, she's independent while the younger is angelic and so in my opinion is more likely to lash out. I have her go to her sister and bite her. Since her mom can't yell at her, it's up to the younger sibling to stand up for themself. (This is not an endorsement saying younger siblings should bite their elder ones for being mean or anything like that. I just really wanted her yelled at and there was no option for that for toddlers, so bite was the best I could do. [Now that I'm writing this I realize I could have made the mom go over there and yell at her through mean interactions, but that I feel that would lead me into my next problem still, plus it would make less sense because then the toddlers would have had to tell on her, and I like to play the sims as if it were real scenarios. Toddlers don't really tattle, they throw a tantrum to get attention, which I suppose was an option but I was like really mad at the whole no bubble thing and couldn't think of anyway to make the toddlers both cry. forgot there was a tantrum option, my bad] But it leads me into problem two, which this is just the foreshadowing thing which alerted me to how nonsense sentiments are. So I made little sis bite bigger sis, and elder gets the hurt sentiment. I'm feeling pretty cold towards my sim right now, I won't lie, so I don't care about the sentiment, only getting annoyed when it developed into deeply wounded and I'm like, excuse me, seriously, you did something wrong to your younger siblings. (Again, not saying two wrongs make a right here. I will only state that siblings do act like that to each other. Trust me, I have 10, and half raised three of my brothers, being an actual paid nanny for the third for two years after his birth. I'm a writer too and have a fondness for psychology, storytelling is something I'm quite good at.) She even scared the angelic twin a second time while she was sleeping alone. So I was extra cold towards her, and the twins now shun her in game, haven't spoken to her at all since. Might seem petty but I've never had siblings in my game that didn't get along well, so with the new growing together pack I'm intrigued about how they'll grow. But my problem here is that those sentiments are basically impossible for get rid of. They aren't like wants and fears they can't be turned on and off. So then I'm getting this same eldest daughter, that I'm still kind of cold to (all this happened today and yesterday), set up and ready to get her and her love interest (currently an npc) married with a kid on the way. My plan to develop their relationship (because I've been burned trying to fast track it before, again because of sentiments) so he won't reject her proposal when it comes to it. I have it planned, just wasting time so I can get her aspiration done, and Have Autonomy Turned Off. It's a nearly full house, two parents, four kids (one unplanned), and a dog. Her boyfriend comes to visit. I have them chat because he's like I wanna be best friends, I'm like cool. Go to set the other people to tasks and am interrupted by a message. He wants to move in. Now it's a full house and she's meant to be pregnant. I can only move her in with him, and want that to happen once I'm sure she's pregnant, and have them move in together on the wedding day. With no way to let him down gently, all the sim can think is my sweetie pie just broke my fragile heart. There's no way to turn sentiments off and I needed those sentiments gone, and none of the cheats I found worked because of a typing error or whatever. I had to exit my game for lack of options. I'm so frustrated right now and no one else seems to be having this problem? I don't understand. I don't feel like this is a bug, I feel like it's just bad gameplay, and I would put it on the ea help(answers.ea.com also dunno if they're different. I think so.) but can't figure out how to post there and no one has this problem there either.

In a way I feel like this does actually belong here because I want to see in the game a switch to turn off sentiments just like wants and fears, another thing I had to turn off because my sims would get fear of failure and unfulfilled obsessively and made the wants satisfaction no longer worth the risk of fears even if the points gotten are higher. Not every sims has a buddy to help them get rid of those fears, some challenges are solo, and some are so that the sim can't have in person relationships for a while, so the fears are just an eternal detriment or a drain on satisfaction points for potions, or saving cheats which you've finally figured out and made work because formatting these things are really hard and if things like this are so frustrating to players then they really should just be easy. I would like to see sentiments added to the shift+click menu for sims to make it really easy if there's no master switch. Same for fears, though I feel like fears are the easier of the two to do that with, and the sentiments should just have a switch. I do like them, they can spur gameplay, like when one of my children got the ignored moodlet, and had to occupy her mom's time to make it go away, I liked that. I don't like it when an npc boyfriend gets all heartbroken for absolutely no reason.
I would also like to see the child's play tent fixed, because it's horrible that a teen would do that without being scolded by mom. In real life they absolutely would be. I'll also accept a sentiment, make it a battle of the sentiments. Hurt because older sibling scared them awake, develops into deeply wounded if not apologized for. It really is unjust in both situations because the 1s and 0s don't allow for those situations. I do want to know if this is just the way that it is for this play tent, because I'm serious every time anyone, mom or sis, has used the play as monster interaction the kids in the tent have all been scared. Yet out on the play structure they're fine with it. I don't understand. What is the difference? Is this a known thing? All I really know is that if a sim is doing something, or going to do something, it definitely has to be in the queue so the player knows what that sims is going to do. I don't want my sims going up to another sim and just being mean to them without any warning to me to make them stop. It has never been that way before, and I really will post every file in my save file here to give access to the one that needs to be looked at if this is a glitch. Because all the recent three save files have had this problem. (been playing a lot the past week, maybe two) I'm certain this problem would transfer over to all save files too. I really don't believe this is a me problem. Three save files in a row? That seems like that an overall game coding thing to me, but I'm no programmer.

Again I'm sorry if this doesn't exactly belong here I just don't know where else to put it. I also don't seem to be able to put it anywhere right now. I suppose I get why newly registered people can't craft posts to guard against bots and whatnot, but it can get really frustrating when you have a problem and get are like me and easily overwhelmed by not being able to find a place to speak and be heard. As someone who finds it really hard to speak up for themself, I found the inability to post my need for help on ea help to be really distressing. There was nothing that said create new post, and on there the account that signed in wasn't new, so there should have been no problem about be posting. Either I wasn't seeing something or misunderstood how the ea help or answers.ea.com forums work. Either way, there was no clear place for me to post this, so I made my best and least overwhelming guess. I am not tech savvy, so this could just be a me problem, but still.

Ten things I want to see implemented into the Sims 4:
    1. I really want a height slider to be able to create more accurate looking sims, specifically teens!
    2. More playground equipment like a slide for kids, a rock climbing wall, climbing dome, roundabouts, corn hole boards etc.
    3. More gym equipment like ellipticals, bikes, stair climbers, dumbbells, free weights, jump ropes that can be placed indoors and outdoors.
    4. I want an active school for kids, maybe boarding school and a daycare with an active career.
    5. Nursing/Retirement homes for elders. Also, tennis courts with various sports like tennis and pickle ball and golf/mini golf can be added with the Nursing homes. More sports like Baseball as well.
    6. Cars, scooters and skateboards.
    7. Firefighter Career and maybe a Dental Career, just having more active/semi-active careers. Also, bands, a singing career, a dancing career and maybe a Musical Theater career all in one pack like Get Famous.
    8. Imaginary Friends, Fairies, Horses and Zombies.
    9. More Diverse worlds like Brazil, India, Africa, Australia, the Caribbean etc.
    10. The ability to create your own waterpark/amusement park with rollercoasters and waterslides.

Hotels/Resorts could go well with a waterpark/amusement park. Spiral staircase and a proper garage with cars would be nice. Curved pools would be nice as well.

"What I want is to make a checklist of what I want to do with my Sims in the game without using Google Docs, Google Sheets, or a piece of paper. I want to be able to arrange my self-made missions into self-made categories.

The checklist should be easy, like:

    Category (Priority)

(Sims X) (befriend, marry, be an enemy with, etc.) (Sims Y)
(Sims A) (earn X amount of money)
    (Sims B) (reach a career) (...)
(Sims C) (have own kids) (number of kids)

    Category (...)

    Category (...)

    Category (...)

Completed missions will be scored and earn points, which can be used to buy something in the game. It sounds easy, right? It gives you a sense of purpose, and it would also be a bit of fun to buy something with points earned from completing self-made missions."

Hi! I've noticed that my sims get jealous when I ask another sim about their romantic preference. Could this be made into a friendly interaction? Secondly, I was wondering why I couldn't use a scenario with an existing household for the Rom-Com scenario when my characters meet all of the requirements. I really enjoy the scenarios. I also noticed that in the Parenting Predicaments scenario, it ages the children up automatically after one aspiration is completed. I'd rather be able to age them up on their birthday with a birthday party instead.

I'm loving the Growing Together pack :) Can you please adjust the family coming over after you had a baby to "help out" though? I had a wonderful tiny home, which is what i wanted for my game play. Then the family decides to come "help out". There was no option to say no. I had the sim parents, 1 child, 2 toddlers and sim infant come over. All into a tiny home. 6 additional people, so that made 9 people in a tiny home. At the end of my rope, I ended up throwing up an additional room with enough beds to cover everyone, had to buy another crib, another play mat, and my sim parents ended up doing tummy time outside on the ground. I had to move the crib and everything into the bedroom with the parents, because the grand parents kept using it for their own baby, who they neglected. Then I had to lock everyone out because the toddlers kept coming in and waking up the new parents crying for attention. The child never went to school, all she did was eat. Seriously I counted her going to the fridge 4 times in a row. I don't know if this is bugged or what. In real life that many people show up on my doorstep? I'm locking the door and throwing away the key. If the grand parents have other family members in their house, there should be the option for just the mom or dad to come. Not to bring the entire household. It was a tad ridiculous to say the least. Really killed the enjoyment of having my first infant.

Was there not the option to Send Home? After initial greet and meet you could have kept just one parent around to help for a bit.

I never had an option to send home. I had other people show up and I did the ol' Send Everyone home and they all stayed. There were on the calendar for a week and I never saw an option anywhere to cancel or to end. Of course, possible that I missed it but I had 7 days with 6 extra people in the house, it was not in any obvious place.

I would absolutely love to see a cemetery where the gravestones/urn go when NPC sims die or even when one of you previously played legacy sims die. I want to make my own personal graveyard for my legacy family but if I can’t find their urn or gravestone I don’t see the point.

I would also like for the “needs TLC” lot trait to eventually disappear as you fix up/ maintain your apartment. It just doesn’t make sense for everything to break forever and realistically I won’t want to play in those apartments after a while. : /

    I'd love to see:

    1) Option to disable childhood phases. Can be broken down by age group.
    2) Start including parents in skipped generational households, including Candy and Yuki Behr! Really messes up family trees. ("Well, I know who my grand-parents are, but no clue about my mother and father, not even their names!")
    3) As @Boxed_Insanity said, a Cemetery! (You can put all of those missing / deceased parents in there)
    4) As many others have stated Cars (I miss restoring a car aka The Sims)
    5) Cell Phone dead spots / Land Lines. Makes no sense to go camping, only to be constantly called.

It's not going to happen in this edition, but perhaps if and when they do The Sims 5
Change in hair / hair styles.

Hair is chosen by Color, Length, Texture, and Cut (bangs or no bangs). Then for each "style" Casual Default, Formal Default, Athletic Default, Sleep Default, Party Default, Swimming Default, Hot Weather Default, Cold Weather Default, Bathing Default, Special Default, Work Default.
Included with this, styles for each hair length, texture, and cut for Loose, Pony Tail, Pig Tails, Fancy / Groomed, Side / Middle parted, etc.

    Hii,

I'm just wondering if there's any plans to fix the glitches with circular rooms?
    •warped floors
    •roof clipping
•attaching straight walls to a preexisting circular wall
•ceiling glitches (won't allow you to delete)
•second floor cut through (physically cannot edit a room below a circular room without excessive camera movement just to avoid the circular wall that glitches through the floor/ceiling- it seems the game registers the clicks in the circular room instead)

I know I and many other build obsessed simmers are frustrated about it

I've only played with vampires since getting High School Years and noticed that the beard & body hair growth feature isn't working on them. I don't know if this is a bug or an intentional feature, but.... I don't like it. At all.

If it's a bug: fix it.

    If it's intentional...
I get why according to some various vampire "lores" why hair growth wouldn't happen on a vampire. But for the Sims 4 it seems weird to effectively shut off one of the features that made me buy an EP without telegraphing to the player that this is going to happen and without their choice. Just don't do it. Facial & body hair growth is off by default; growth is in every manner an opt-in feature. Let vampire sims opt-in to that pack feature.

Either way, I don't think that the interaction between hair growth and vampirism is working as it should in order to provide the best quality of experience for the player.

I've got quite a few ideas this time around. The game is finally getting better thanks to the most recent updates, especially the Infants and Baby update and the Growing Together EP. And also I would love to thank you the SimGurus and Maxis for finally updating the original Newborn babies and adding more personality for individual Sims with the Growing Together EP. However, there are many things that the game would benefit from even more.

    • Family tree/genealogy really needs a big update so that the family tree in Sims 4 will show more family members including cousins, second cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews etc, it will basically be expanded like in Sims 2, I believe it was more in-depth before, also it should show the CAS traits of each Sim, and more information.
    • An update so that the Neglected kid Sims are able to get adopted by other households in the same game save file except for the household where they got taken from.
    • Small microscopes, could come with a Kit, free update or a bigger pack
    • Free base game Color wheel update for CAS including for hair and eye colors, and the descendants of the created Sims with the custom eye and hair colors may inherit these features.
    • Custom Styled Looks for players in CAS. This is way overdue after we finally got Makeup and Opacity Sliders in a free base game update.

    • A game pack or even an expansion pack about being an Entrepreneur/Real Estate active career and it would also bring back owning venues and the ticket machine object from TS2: Open For Business. It may also bring back home businesses, and could come with some slight Get To Work Retail revamps/adjustments as a free refresh (shopping bag animations from Sims 2 Open For Business and the Cash Register and adding higher price tags than 100%, maybe up to 300% like with the yard sale object that initially came with City Living EP!) to Simmers who own Get To Work and have it installed in their game before the pack releases. This would expand on the Business/Retail aspect of Get To Work and it would let Sims be able to buy venues and very old houses, re-decorate them and sell them for a big profit.
    • Spellcasters from Realm of Magic should really get revamped so there could be way more spells to choose from, and being able to curse Sims with spells. I still miss the amazing Sims 1 Makin' Magic spells like the Time Stopper Charm/Spell, which actually froze the time in-game so the Sim who used the spell had way more time to do whatever they needed to! Also the Fame Spell should get added for Simmers with Get Famous EP installed, and the Toadification Spell from Sims 1 MM and Sims 3 Supernatural EPs.
    • A Ghosts overhaul so we can create them in CAS, as well as Ghost Infants, but this would only be possible if we created the Ghost Parents in CAS or something like that? Hmm…
    • Cemeteries and better funerals. It's been so many years and we still don’t have these, why? :open_mouth:
    • Maybe a Date Night/Hot Date/House Party type of game pack or expansion pack that will improve both house parties and romantic dates and romantic socials, maybe add in a Romantic Chemistry System, I am not too sure about Zodiac Signs, but maybe there could be something more to it.
    • I would love to see some kind of a Cottage Living Pt 2 expansion pack with more animals and even wild animals, such as pigs, sheep, goats, deer, and small animals like birds (parrots, owls, pidgeons, doves etc) ferrets, snakes and lizards, and maybe we could even create some of these new animals in Create-a-Pet mode! I would adore such a pack like that. Maybe Sims could use a sewing machine to create blankets or special mats from the lamb’s wool too?

I may come with more ideas later on, but these came to my mind this time around. Happy Simming and thank you Maxis for continuing to improve on and expanding this game! <3
