Header Bodging?

I frequent many websites and subreddits, and when I come here, I usually end up clicking on the header image which redirects me to the Sims main page, instead of the main forum page. It's a habit that I really can't get out of my system, and it's a little irritiating if I want to head back to the front page of this forum without clicking the bookmark I have.
Could the banner be changed to a redirect to the forums home page, or due to company obligations, is this not allowed?

I can't really comment on the banner, but I personally find it a really convenient way to access The Sims 4 website with direct links to the News blog, the Gallery and Forums
PS! We do have a direct link to forum homepage on every forum level - the little house/home button.
