Game crashes when sims eat

Ok. So I dont know whats going on. Either when I send my sims to eat they do nothing at the acton is canceled, or it crashes. I tried taking out my cc and it still doesnt work. It worksd on my laptop, but not on my desktop. I started a new game and i still have this issue. I really don't wanna give up on my desktop save because its prettier than my laptop.

If you haven’t done this already, move your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.

Sometimes having a large amount of items in the sims inventories and household inventory can cause issues. Try removing some of the items from the inventories and see if that helps.

Try lowering your graphics settings and see if that helps.
Make sure that the graphics drivers are uptodate.

Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.


If the issues still remain after doing the above things , could you please post your DxDiag info here.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
Then copy and paste the information from where you saved it, to pastebin https://pastebin.com
and post the link to the file here

Also, it's always best to delete the localthumbcache txt file inside documents->electronic arts -> sims 4 when moving or adding mods. So when you remove your mods folder, you want to delete that file, so it's doesn't have lingering remnants of the mods.

Ok. so After a few days of trail and error, I have concluded that my save was corrupted. I didn't have the same issue when I removed my mods and cc. I updated my mods, started a clean save and everything was fine. But when I went back to my old save, same issues. I did repair my game, I emptyed the sims inventory, I deleted cache files. Nothing. It was only that save. Like I said, any new saves worked fine, and some old ones were ok as well. So, with a heavy heart... I had to delete my legacy save the was generation 7. T^T
