Did this ever get fixed? I've not exchanged the promise rings since the bug first emerged.

I don’t think that it was listed as being fixed in the patch notes. There have been though some simmers who posted a while back that it was fixed in their game. There hasn’t been posts lately about this issue. Simmers though have been posting that they still have the issue sometimes that they “ can’t marry someone employed by them”

I am not quite sure but I think it may have been fixed though. There hasn’t been reports lately about it occurring.

I might test it out on one of the households I don't play, I can't be bothered having to go through all the steps again to fix it.

It would be good to test it out in a Household you don’t play. Then you will know if you can have the promise rings again,

There's still some issues but it's been mostly fixed. I think its not the promise rings that are still an issue though but rather having multiple relationships.
