Tried to get my lesbian Sims pregnant...

So, I saw that you can change your Sims gender using the dresser. I had hoped that I could change one of them to male, get the other pregnant and then change back to female. The option to Try for Baby after the switch didn't come up! ? I was so excited, too. Has anyone else tried this and had success? Am I doing something wrong?

Oh, also I'm on PS4.

If you enter CAS in the upper left corner you should see an icon that looks like this ... I believe. Click that, there should be a set of options:

1. Can get pregnant
2. Can get others pregnant
3. Neither
   
   
   Select can get others pregnant for one of your sims make sure the other is set to can become pregnant which I believe is the default for females, and the option to try for baby should be available as long as their relationship is high enough, and there is no need to swap genders if you don't want to.
