Trying to go back to sims 4

I just got Sims 4 cats and dogs and I tried to play it. But as soon it upload (Which it takes a while) It say I have low memory. I tried everything I can to make room but it still say that not enough room. I'm using a HP notebook laptop. I don't remember how to upload the information...

Could you please post your DxDiag info here.
To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, do this :
Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
Type dxdiag in the text field
Click OK
Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
Then copy and paste the information from where you saved it, to pastebin https://pastebin.com
and post the link to the file here

I am so sorry but your computer doesn’t meet the requirements to run the game
Cats and Dogs ep requires 64 bit mode, and that mode requires over 4gb memory . Your laptop has less than 4gb for the computer to use, which is why you are having issues, and are receiving the message.
You have an integrated processor video card. It is using the same computer ram along with the game , origin, windows and other programs that you have on your computer.

It has a Pentium processor and an integrated graphics card, which aren't made for gaming.
you're in the same boat as me. i recently downloaded a pack and my computer can no longer run the game and neither can any laptops (and I can't get a desktop as I have to take the laptop to school) I can afford. I won't be able to play the game ever again until I'm in year 12 (that's 5 years) smh. But I'm trying to save up for the cheapest version of the hp omen.
The problem with gaming laptops (and this took me some time to understand) is that they are heavy and tend to have a shorter battery life. None of which are good, if you want to take your laptop to school. As @phoebebebe13 recommended to me not long ago, you could get a gaming desktop at home and take a cheaper laptop/tablet with you to class. These are also cheaper. My potato laptop and our gaming desktop costed almost the same (bit less than 500 in USD, but stuff are more expensive here) and they are nowhere near each other in terms of performance.
They're in Aus. Computers cost allot more there though I agree they are better off with a desktop at home for gaming and a cheap laptop/tablet for school The laptop they have right now can be used for school but not this game.
Strange, my Toshiba works better than HP. it actually played. But for how long...I wonder...

You can't compare computers by brand toshiba vs HP etc. They make computers with different hardware. It all depends on your computer hardware specs and what the computer is designed to do. They make computers for gaming, for general use. Computers for general use are not designed to run this game
if you know someone who is tech inclined to help you-you should look into building your own desktop. You can do it yourself for much much less than what you could buy one pre-made for. Plus-you get to choose what you want and don't want in it. No preloaded crap software
My brother has said that he's found a laptop that'll run the game on high settings with expansions :smiley:
Just be EXTREMELY careful because if your brother is not a simmer then chances are he will have no idea. It's best to post the info here.
Because there was NO WAY you could get something within your budget that plays the game.. unless you are getting a used laptop?
