Error code 110

I just got smacked with error code 110:f299fdf3:22cc388 . I do use mods, but taking them out doesn't let me load my save. What lead up to it was my Sim had just closed his vet clinic and started upgrading one of the roombas. Then he was invited to a birthday party, which I accepted. During the load screen, first it went very dark, then went to normal, then I got a popup box with the error code.

I can roll the save back, which I will do. My computer far exceeds the recommended system requirements, so I don't think it's a hardware thing either. It is the first time I've seen an error code in the game since GTW.

I am sorry that you had this issue occur It is helpful that you posted feedback on what led up to the issue occurring. It would be best to roll back your save as you plan to do.

I've had the exact same issue since I just downloaded the sims 4 cats and dogs. As soon as I tried loading up my world it came up with the 110 error code, I haven't even gotten to play!

I am sorry that you have had this issue .Try recovering an earlier version of your current save game and see if you can play that game, To do that , go to the main screen of sims 4, and click on the " load game " button.Click on your save game file picture. Then click on the " recover game " button down the right hand side bottom of the screen,. Press on an earlier version of the save game from the menu that pops up. Then load that save game version

I've also had the same issues! I just downloaded Pets and all my save files won't open. Originally it was the same 110 error but trying to open i recovered file I got error 123:9d5d0e8f:68d52273. I have mods but I tried opening my games with them both enabled and disabled and nothing changed. Nothing changes upon game restart either and there is a brief pause where the screen darkens some during the loading phase before the error comes up.

Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues remain.

If the issues remain, try doing what I suggested in the above post and seeing if you can recover an earlier save game.

I am sorry that you have had this issue

Try resetting your sims 4 folder, starting a new save game file, and testing to see if the new save game works okay . To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if the issue is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder. Test the game between placing back each folder.

Update: I went through my custom content and removed everything that showed up as a script mod in my sims game, it started up now!

It is good that your game has started now, after testing by removing the mods

If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there. If it has helped with the issues, put your mods/ CC back into the newly generated mods folder that is in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testingy after each one to see which is the causes of the problem.

If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

Hello I am too having trouble I updated the new seasons onto my game but it was working fine until my sims were taking a really long time to do something so I saved it then went to manage worlds then I clicked back into my household and error: 110.7 popped onto my screen and I’m not sure what it means

Thankyou but now it’s not letting me save with the error code 510.8 getting bad luck tonight :)

Try having your sims travel to another lot and see if they can save there. They may also be able to save at Manage worlds instead.
