Reporting should not generate spam blocks for posting [Possible bug?]

Was reporting some legitimate spam (multiple spam posts by different users in the same thread) and got a message that I had posted 1 time within 240 seconds and therefore my account had a spam block on it and it would prevent me from posting for 600 seconds (10 MINUTES).

Reporting posts should not generate blocks on posting, if it's not a bug that's it doing that.

I guess you've gotta space out your reports to avoid it. I don't think the spam block for reports is intended but ya never know.

In my opinion Reporting things should not count towards the spam blockers, but there may be technological limitation that make differentiating normal posts and reports difficult. But we will look into.

One thing to note though - to avoid the spam blocks for reporting, just one report per thread should be enough. We do check entire discussion and remove any content that breaks forums rules.
