Game Breaking Error (Caused By Deleting Households) 122:70c7f9a6:9c7f491f

I get this error when trying to load a lot. Up to date. All mods are up to date. Only script mods I have are longer parties and more guests, mc command center, custom drinks, custom foods. All of which are up to date. Was able to play earlier Friday but not now. Was not on a new game. I just want to get back to my Mayor Whiskers.

Cause: Deleting households after the new patch that introduced a Sim limit will break the game. You must recover an older save and never delete a household until Maxis fixes this serious issue. Please report it to them.

are they updated for the cat and dog expansion though?? if you have the new expansions some mods are not working especally script mods

It can be caused by deleting a sim. It is best not to delete sims, to try to avoid this error
Try recovering an earlier version of your current save game to play. To do that , go to the main screen of sims 4, and click on the " load game " button.Click on your save game file picture. Then click on the " recover game " button down the right hand side bottom of the screen,. Press on an earlier version of the save game from the menu that pops up. Then load that save game version

When placing a build, it may be best to enter build mode first, then open the gallery from there to place the build. Change the lot type before placing the build,

Wow so I have to play it differently now to avoid game breaking errors? Used to be able to place lots from the gallery on the map screen no problem. Then they updated the game on the 7th and released a broken expansion pack. Great.

Anyways I noticed the screen goes dark and then brightens back up again when placing lots seeing the building lot animation loading screen thing.

Tried to repair the game but this is still happening. Error: 122:70c7f9a6:9c7f491f

Try recovering an earlier save game version from before you tried placing the build, then play the game from then.

I have the same error, it happens because of deleting a sim from household management. -_- I can only hope it will be fixed soon.

Yep that must've been the cause for me too. Ever since they introduced the new Sim limit in household management if you delete any Sims it will cause your save game to break! I just reproduced this error. It was because I deleted a household or two. Do NOT delete any households Maxis needs to fix this game breaking bug.

OK good I posted it on the EA Answers thing as well. This is a serious issue i hope they will fix and I can play my old save without having to recover. I would lose WAY too much progress its just not worth fighting over then.

I am having a similar issue. Whenever script mods are enabled, an error appears. I have tried repairing the game, recovering a saved game, removing my saves, deleting broken cc and even creating a new household. Still nothing..

Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.
