Hello
Is this occurring with all masculine sims or certain sims?
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.
If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
Can you try testing to see if the same issue is occurring in a new save game ? This is just to check to see if there may be an issue with your current save game.
Try also deleting the cache files https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
Yeah, each and every test was in a new saved game, that didn't even take me to the world menu, But CAS, as if the patch never happened.
I've even tried moving my Sims 4 folder out and having a complete new one, Male sims Feminine frame or Masculine frame have heavily glitched necks, and the complete folder reset made it even worse.
It was helpful to read your feedback.
The patch didn’t include the feature that a new save game will begin in the world screen rather than CAS. The feature may come in a future patch.
Well I was told (and saw) that rather this patch or the last one made it to where starting a new game takes you straight to the worlds map instead of cas. /
I have this neck glitch in one save but not another save. its doing it without cc or mods , ive repaired the game and when it was updated no mods were present in the folder at the time. i have tried a new save and its been fine but at least one save file, it so happens to be my MAIN save has the bulging necks and its truly unsightly and awful.

Hello @Sammoyke
I am sorry that you have this issue. Try going to the main screen of sims 4, and click on the " load game " button.Click on your save game file picture. Then click on the " recover game " button down the right hand side bottom of the screen,. Try seeing if there is an earlier version of the save game there that was before the patch, in the menu that pops up. Then load that save game version and see if the issue is also in that save game version.
so i dont know why but now the original save that was totally fine also has wonky necks. i tried doing a previous version save and that didn't change anything. there is zero custom content of any kind in the game. This is sorta frustrating because the first save i was testing everything was fine but now that i have used a save with this glitch the other save seems to have adopted the problem. its just a very wonky look and my female sims has it as well tbh just not nearly as bad. The thinner you make the neck the more awful it looks. It really sorta makes look the sim bad enough to not want to play it.
the only way the neck looks halfway normal is if yuo make the head as wide as possible making the sim look like a giant bobblehead . its like the neck is permanently on a wide scale and it makes it bulge no matter what, i can record a video if it helps.

Hello
It would be good if you could start a new thread on the AHQ EA site and post feedback there. You can post pictures on that thread. Other simmers can also post feedback on the issue also https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs
ug so i can create a sim in the same household with the bulging necks and that neck be totally normal but all the other necks in the house hold are messed up. i can not recreate over 50 custom sims because of a simple neck glitch some of these sims ive had since the start of the game
everytime i use that they ask me the same questions and sometimes even send me here but sure. i reckon im just sorta stuck with this issue ,then?
It would be good to start a thread on the bug report site. The developers will investigate and test the issue. It isn’t the EA help live chat section., it is the bug report threads section .
its not like letting me submit it ......... i click submit it just sits there and its all filled out Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%) What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All currently available Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i have zero idea, my existing sims and some new sims started doing this after the patch What happens when the bug occurs? The neck bulges on male sims with male frames horribly. The neck for male sims with a female frame has always been a bit weird but the male sims with male frames has generally been normal with zero issues until now. its like its bulging in the center of the neck like a cartoon character with a bone in the neck. the only way to get the neck to look even halfway normal is to make the sim itself either all the way fat or the head all the way wide like a bobblehead. its like the center of the neck isn't changing with the rest of it when it's altered to be thin, muscluar ect. At first I didn't have the issue on the save I was testing my cc with it, then when i tried another save the error occured. I removed all mods prior to updating as well removed them to make sure this was no a mod or cc conflict. I have repaired the game, done a factory reset, and did all except reinstall which to be frank seems majorly excessive for a NECK glitch. When I went back to the save where the neck was normal it was as if the problem was adopted by that save, it too now had wonky necks. I attempted to create a new sim in the same house hold and it's neck was normal however someone else with this same problem has made several new save files and her problem persisted, in other words making a new save or sim didn't help her but making a new sim does seem to work on mine however . I have over 90 custom sims that I don't want to recreate some I have had since the launch and they look terrible like this and I can't just recreate a sim from scratch to look the same again , I worked hard on them and I losing them shouldn't be the worst case scenerio here for so many characters. I have included a video. It may seem subtle but when you're playing and staring at it for so long its just unsightly and makes the sims look totally awful and as you can see in the video depending on the size of the sim it gets worse and worse, smaller sims look so terrible with the neck. What do you expect to see? A normal working neck. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. The november 7th patch
Because you are a new member, you can’t post links. But instead of that , break the Video address code up by typing h.t,ttp and we can post the link for you.
