I'm not sure if this is only my game but is anyone else having constant vampire break-ins after the new patch?
I'm getting them every single night and it's plumbing me off

Perhaps try having your sims move to another home, then move them back to the original home and see if that helps. Make sure that you choose the “ sell furniture” option when it appears when moving them.
There may also be more break ins when living in Forgotten Hollows so you may want to move them to another world and have them remain living there.

Am I too lost?
I think part of me is hoping that since the new patch it could be because they are adding burglars in the next patch but I highly doubt it but you can always hope!
I am sorry that you are having vampires breaking in each night. Perhaps putting up garlic may help.
It is great that you have started a new family in preparation for Cats and Dogs. Perhaps after the next patch, the amount of break ins may lessen for you.

You may want to try the Private Dwelling lot trait. It prevents random visits Sims and should also stop the Vampire break-ins on your home lot.

The lot in question also didn't have a door since it's an outdoor night club. Oh wait the bathrooms have doors but none the less the vampire appeared to be "breaking in" on the dance floor. It was bizarre and I had to use MCcommand to force the vampire to leave so I could have my sim go home.

Other simmers have also had this issue. Your workaround to use MCCC mod to help with the issue is good,
