Land Won't Disappear Under Water

I'm new to CAW so I've been watching some tutorial videos on YouTube. They go to Sculpt > Valley - Gentle/Steep to make the edges of the land go down into the water like this.



But when I try to do that, I can still see the land when it goes under the water.



How can I get it to disappear under the water like the tutorials? Is it a graphics issue?

I think it's a map height issue. If I choose a 200 height map it does this. If I use a 100 height map with matching height limit, it gives me regular water. No sure if it is a caw issue or not though.

@Funkycorm I'm getting this for all map heights. I'm also making sure I match up the heights with maximum heights.
