this is great! i've been playing a big rotation with all the premades, you've inspired me to start documenting the decisions i make with them really looking forward to seeing more of this!
Who would’ve thought that internet superstar Penny Pizzazz would marry someone like Mitchell Kalani? Their marriage may not have done their careers any good (the internet is a cruel place), but it did give them a son, Dorian. The may not live in a fancy penthouse, but the Spice Market is the hottest part of town anyway.
When Mitchell still lived with his housemates in Oasis Springs, he decided he wanted a job that didn’t require him to do all that much. So he started a career in social media - and he met Penny while cosplaying at GeekCon. A lot of Mitchell’s followers accused him of taking advantage of Penny’s superior position in the social media world. The thought had never even occurred to him, but it did mean the end of his career. After trying various other careers, he settled on being a stay-at-home dad. That’s where Mitchell feels most comfortable, at home.
It was love at first sight for Penny, when she met Mitchell while he wasn’t doing justice to SuperLlama in his costume. She excitedly shared this with her followers, but as stated above, it turned into a bit of a riot. Penny, having seen the best and the worst of the internet, quit her job and started to meddle in politics. It has been a very rough start in that career and resulted in trying to raise a family in a small apartment. But Penny is determined to become the city’s most respected charity icon. And with a lot of her old followers still loyal (in spite of everything) it may eventually happen. She just won’t ever be able to afford that penthouse she once dreamt of.
Resembling both his parents, Dorian loves to socialise. Hanging out with friends is one of his favourite activities. While his mother is at work all day and his dad is napping on the sofa, he likes to explore the city and talk to the weirdos, tourists and guys in raccoon suits. He isn’t allowed to do that, but if there isn’t anyone telling him he shouldn’t do it, then why not? For Dorian, the best part of the week is going to the park on Sunday with both his parents.

Yay, Mitchell Kalani! I have no idea why, but I always found myself liking him if I look for a premade in Oasis Springs to fix up and marry one of my Sims.
Diego Lobo has always been known as the most fiery of art critics in the world (literally fiery when he once torched one of Ulrike Faust’s works - not because he didn’t like it, but because she said something to him he didn’t like). All the more surprising it was when he announced his engagement to struggling artist Salim Benali. Now that they’ve been married for a while, Diego and Salim couldn’t be happier together, but what’s the secret to the success of their relationship?
One day, while Diego was wandering around the flea market, scouring for undiscovered gems, his eye met with such extreme beauty. And it wasn’t one of Salim’s beginner paintings, it was Salim. Diego told Salim his artwork was utterly uninteresting, but he did give him his number. They started dating and while they may not be super compatible, they both have something the other doesn’t. Diego has a rather fiery nature whereas Salim is very calm, and somehow that evens out perfectly in their relationship. Diego still has his career as an art critic and is both loved and feared because of his verbally “expressive” commentaries.
After he met Diego, Salim heeded his advice and gave up painting. He still is a writer and not even all that bad. If only he wouldn’t suffer from writer’s block so often. And if that sofa didn’t constantly tell him it’s nap time, things would go a lot faster. Salim pretends not to like it, but he loves it when Diego drags him off that sofa and out into town. They’re an often seen couple at any festival around town. While there’s always a lot of talk about their shenanigans at the Humor and Hijinks festival, their absolute favourite is the Romance festival (because throwing petals has something super romantic to it).

Hmm. Interesting. I've always stayed away from mods in fear of corrupting the game, but "killer mods"? Now that is tempting. One does not simply have too many easy and painful ways to cause a sim's early demise. I feel like we should be friends, ser.
@For_Eorzea There is never enough ways to kill Sims! I don't even play with mods but the killing/killer mods just seems so cool!
We would make a great team for sure.
I usually pair Diego with Raj and act like Geeta dislikes their relationships and tries to kill Diego with puffer fish nigiri..
But Diego and Salim makes a great pair! I never even thought about them together.
Things didn’t go so well for Raj, in case you’re wondering what happened, this is the story. His now departed mother Geeta forced him into a marriage with the first eligible bachelorette available. That was a mistake, because Eva Capricciosa didn’t turn out to be “wife-material”. The only good thing to come of their very short marriage was a son, Dip.
There was a time when Raj had a good job as a well-respected chef, but those days are over. He got fired after a series of unfortunate incidents with pufferfish nigiri. So when he and Eva divorced shortly thereafter, he had to move to a run down apartment. Geeta could have taken him back in, but she couldn’t live with the disgrace of her son having failed at both his career and his marriage. When Geeta passed, she left all her possessions to her only grandchild. Raj tried to get a new job in the culinary world, but no-one wanted him. He wasn’t even allowed to grill burgers at Hogan’s. The only option seemed to take up a job in the business career, and start from the ground up. That way Raj manages to pay the maintenance for Dip and he gets to see him every weekend. Even if he can’t buy his son expensive toys, Raj tries hard to be a good father.
