@Ojenn I posted my update last night without checking for anything new! You have been so busy! I am really excited about trying the fixer upper version. I'm going to do it in the new town but I would love to do that in Brindleton Bay too. I remember I did that with my first heir. I just moved him into one of the houses on the docks. I'm about to be on my last generation so I'm trying to wait for the new challenge to start playing with the new pack.
The only thing though is having the same mates for all 3 of the extended versions. When I start again I don't want the same mates I just had. I'd be happy to do some work though and help search/create another batch of 5 and 10. Or even taking the favorites from different runs...Oh you know what would be fun...taking the founders of all the run throughs...Ok I'm just babbling right now.
I also noticed you said you lost your job. I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you find something you love soon. I work with flooring, if there are any International Design Guilds or Flooring Americas in your area I could put in a word for you if you're looking for a design or sales position and they have anything available.

I've gotten back into playing (loving Get Famous and Seasons!) but freelance playing just bores me, so i've decided to join this challenge again!
Seeings as I already did rebuild Willow Creek, I've decided to jump right ahead and into Oasis Springs, I've chosen to do a White & Islander founder couple.
Chapter 1: Humble Beginnings (Meet Tane and Summer Patel!)
Tane comes from a humble background. He never had a lot to his name but has always been happy with what he had. He originated from Selvadorada however moved to Oasis Springs when his family tragically died in a earthquake. He was the sole survivor.
Tate's dream is to become a Freelance Botanist and he is currently employed as a Dirt-Digger in the gardener career! He loves the outdoors, keeps active and is a romantic at heart.
Summer comes from a snobby, wealthy background. She did not inherit both her parents snobby trait but is Materialistic due to her wealthy upbringing.. Despite being materialistic, She doesn't mind that Tane doesn't have a huge paying job at the moment. In Fact Tane being a gardener, growing fruit and vegetables, really works for Summer as she is a Vegetarian.
She met Tane when the two were teenagers, after he had moved from Selvadorada as a refugee. Summers parents did not approve of Tane, they had dreams that she would marry a Doctor or successful businessman. They brushed the young relationship off in hopes it would phase out but when the younglings got engaged... and then married soon after... Summers parents disowned her.
Summer moved away from Newcrest after her parents stopped talking to her and she and Tane started a new life together in Oasis Springs. Her dreams were big, she aspired to be a World-Famous Celebrity one day. She figured it would be the only way to regain the fortune she had lost when her parents cut her off. She decided to start by joining a fashion influencer career, she had always had a keen eye for fashion anyway!
Tane and Summer are currently the only residents in Oasis Springs! They live in a starter home that I built and costed them a total of $18,795. It's far from what Summer is use to, but her happiness comes first. That's the beauty of a Cheerful sim!
Both Tane and Summer have agreed that before they start a little family of their own, they want to have a solid income.. so here is to working hard!

The twins explained how there year had been good and there well being and relationship, Well so to speak Pristine wasn't mentioning a few details due to her brother would explode to that new.
Alas, Pristine had few tricks up her sleeve waiting to unravel. Little brother has no idea what in store for him.
As visit came was drawing to an end to say goodbye. The twins reminisce to a time when they last saw their parents alive. nearly 15 years prior.
"Your not going to leave so soon are you now dears?" a eeirly sounding Female but familer voice said.
"Were happy You come to visit us every year my dear, My you have grown to be as beautiful as Your mother, my preacious daugther." Eerily sounding male voice said.
Pristine startled losing her balance to turn around quickly to see a ghostly figure of her father just as the last time she remembered him to be only this time he wasn't alive.
Preston startled and frigthen at first till he saw his mother.
Pristine: "Da..Daddy!? is that really You?"
Archimedes: " I've gottcha my little tomboy daugther, And who elsa, My precious darling."
Pristine: "it's really is You, You heard everything we said"
Archimedes: "Yes we did we my dear we heard everything."
Sonoja: "Well Your certanly not going keep me waiting are you? ..where's My Hug!"
Preston: ma..ma...MOMMY!!!
Pristine: "I've missed you daddy, I've done the best I can as you asked me to take care of Little brother to the best of my ablilities. As pristine hugs her father.
Archimedes: "You've done well my dear he grown into a Young fine man. A little on the soft side. but you have proctected him well. "
Sonoja: " There, there my darling baby boy Mommy right here. Oh how I've missed you, my preacious son, you grown so much last time I saw you just a tiny sprout now you've grown up to a handsome man."
Prestion: "Sobs..I miss you so much mother I miss you so very much. I've been watching over sister doing my best to keep her out of troubles"
Hi everyone! *waves* My husband gave me my birthday present early. I got a gaming laptop! I can officially play the sims again I see there's a revised version of the challenge. I wanna give it a shot to help get me back into the swing of things. I just wanna make sure I have the rules right. I'm suppose to buy the largest home in whichever neighborhood I start in? Then move my founders in and use their 20k to build their starter home and go from there?

I also like the idea of the new "fixer upper" option! I always was terrible at exteriors, so that may be just what I need. I can't wait for finals to be over so I can start playing again!
Has anyone gotten then new EP yet? If yes, how are you liking it? I'm kind of torn...it's my least favorite EP so far (we already have a big city world and I didn't care for the celebrity feature in Sims 3), but I want some outside opinions.

So funny how we both rejoin this at the same time I think the rule you are talking about (which i didn't even see myself till you mentioned it - oops!) is for the rebuild/refurbish option (5 generations). So glad to have you back anyway! I always loved your updates!! What neighbourhood are you going to start off with?
@debjameswhite thank you!! So happy to be back I got too busy with my new nooboo to attempt to even play any games but now that shes 9m old and sleeps a bit better, my nights are dedicated to simming looking forward to getting to know your sims family!
@JordanNicoleJJ Thank you! I'm loving the revamp of this challenge too! I pre-ordered Get Famous as soon as I heard about it lol! I've always been a huge fan of the celebrity styled EP's since Sims 1 Superstar.. so my opinion may be a bit biased, but i'm LOVING it! The only remake i was disappointed in when it came to a sims celebrity pack was TS3 version of it.. I think Get Famous is much better.
Chapter 2: A slow (and a bit boring!) beginning
So not a lot has been happening since the introduction of Tane and Summer.. The two have just been slowly working on their careers and hobbies. Summer made an effort to go to Brindleton Bay and interview a few sims about fashion, to further her career. Don't mind her slightly judgy look.. I don't think J Huntington III's sweater was up to Summers standards.. and Brent Hecking's hairstyle.. perhaps a bit out of fashion at the moment!
Summer was in luck though, she ran into the famous Dirk Dreamer while she was out! (I love that they have taken OG sims and made them celebrities!) Although Dirk denied an autograph at first, she managed to score one the second time around!
and she got a selfie too! Hopefully one day Summer will be more than just a fan girl.
Tane didn't mind Summer dragging him along to the park. He always enjoyed going outdoors and would take the opportunity to fish while she was off socialising and interviewing sims. On a plus side, the gardening and fishing skills go hand-in-hand alongside cooking.
ahhh yes... cooking.. which Tane had not quite got the hang of yet! But thankfully Summer was around to extinguish him when he decided to set himself on fire. He has managed to get to level 3 since this
The couples hard work has paid off as they both recently got promotions although they are still on slim pickings, they managed to buy a new flower arranging table and a bee keeper/house which both of them wanted apparently
and.. poor Summer got herself bit by an annoying Vampire ~_~ anyone know how to keep them away? Garlic plants perhaps? Or is there a garlic wreath that can be made?
I made my Fixer Upper couple and I'm itching to play but I'm unsure how to get started. @OJenn or @debjameswhite do I buy the biggest house in Brindleton Bay (where I'm starting) using freerealestate, bulldoze it, and make a starter home with the 20k they have? I think so but I don't wanna start out wrong.

Congrats! A very belated congrats lol Tane and Summer are perfect, as is their starter home. Great job making it so cute and only 18k. I've really missed your sims. You capture the best expression's in your photos. Summer is adorable and I love watching Tane work his way through the gardener career. I've wanted that career literally forever. I love that you're playing in Oasis Springs, that's always been my fav world. I'm gonna start in Brindleton Bay. @yunanesca - Hi!!! I'm really excited to be back. I've missed you all. You've come so far in your story. I was so sad for Pristine and Preston while they were talking to their parents urns. By the way gorgeous pictures! You paid such great attention to detail. I felt like I was watching a scene from a movie. I really loved the decorating and how the twins were styled. I wasn't expecting them to get to talk with their parents ghost. It was a really nice surprise.
@JordanNicoleJJ - Ah! You're posting again too!? It's like the gang's back together. I love it! I haven't gotten the new EP. I'm on the same page as you, it was my least fav of the packs we've had in the past so I'm not rushing to get it. I'm gonna let @Tellex tempt me with her pictures before I decide to buy I'm gonna give the Fixer Upper challenge a try too. I love doing reno's of EA houses so it'll be fun. Oh my gosh, I'm loving all the activity on here! I'm going to get an update up tonight--I've played enough for a couple updates! Spoiler: little Reed is already a child, and there may or may not be another little one running around my game ;D Also a huge house remodel! I love that little family so much, and it kills me that I can't play often.
@Tellex I never played Sims 1 or 2, so my only exposure to the celebrity stuff was Sims 3. Good to hear Get Famous is better than that...maybe I'll get it for myself for Christmas. How is the new world? Is it a full world like San Myshuno? I'm a little worried my laptop won't be able to handle another huge city, to be honest
@Heckstress17 I didn't get a new laptop Surprisingly, my old one is still going strong, but then again I don't use it much anymore. It's handling pets and seasons way better than I thought it would (Sims 3 insta-crashed on me when I tried to load both of those packs at the same time), so I'm just gonna wait for it to completely die before I upgrade lol.

Hunter's also excited to expand their little family, but this will be their last--they're getting older, and he doesn't want to be an elder when his kids are still in high school.
Billie decorated the sun room for Reed's birthday and invited over all their family and friends.
Unfortunately, Grandpa Sam has passed away, but Grandma Sawyer is doing well!

Hunter loves sharing his favorite hobby with his son
With Reed being a little older, Hunter and Billie were able to celebrate Love Day with a romantic stroll through town, roses, and gourmet coffee.
Hunter planned to surprise Billie with a romantic evening as well, but they were both surprised when Billie's water broke at the coffee shop! Despite that craziness, it was a lovely Love Day.
And when it comes to newborns, there's always enough love to go around. Everyone, meet River Riggs!

I will definitely look into those places, I do believe there is a Flooring Americas here in Miami? I will have to take a look when I get the chance to. I've been on interviews every single day so there is no shortage of downtime for me lol.
If we can collectively come up with new people for each of the challenges I'd appreciate it. That's how we came up with the initial ones and I really loved doing that and having everyone involved. (Gen 2 and 3 for Willow Creek have been redone)

I love the way Summer is looking at her interviewee. Very intense! I'm so excited to see parts from the new pack. Even though I have it installed I've been avoiding it since I'm right at the end of my challenge. Although John has gotten some archaeology fame and I saw someone walking by who glowed hehe.
Oh I haven't had anyone catch fire cooking for so long! <knocks on wood> It gave me a fun nostalgic feeling!! Ohhhh...the vampires...poor Summer. I delete them...
@Heckstress17 I think your mixing an idea I had with the fixer upper challenge which does actually pull in some of my ideas. I think for the fixer upper challenge you move into the biggest house to start and that's your base. You don't delete the house, you redecorate it and you can add on if you want but don't tear down any of the original walls. Then each generation fixes up a new house but ends up back in the starting home...is that right @OJenn ? EDIT: I was wrong! It says the founder home is built from scratch. Love that idea! Then I guess you fix the other ones up

Chapter 88: Puppies
Their love is still strong.
So is John’s love for donuts.
At home, at one of Sarah’s parties, her mom Jasmine’s pregnancy was a little uncomfortable.
There is a lot of love at these parties!
That was good because they lost Shiloh right afterwards.
Funny, the parents and kids always sit at opposite ends of the table.
Death was in the air I guess, John got news that both of his parents had passed away.
His big brother was there to help him feel better.
They went to the family grave site.
A couple of puppies came over to see about adoption…they were only supposed to adopt one but they took both of these little girls into their home. Mallory and Luna.
Sarah and John find lots of little places to escape for couple time.

Aiden is the youngest…so at this point all the children have become teens.
John decided to take the family to the jungle just like Grandpa Brennan had taken him so many times. Aiden did his homework right away. I’m pretty happy with him as the heir.
John gave a lecture on archaeology.
This guy is definitely a distant relative.
This is one of my close families, and I love them.
They should never have allowed Aiden to jogging on his own…
Aiden is also a dog lover like his Dad. Just like his Dad found a stray in the jungle, so did Aiden.

Sadly, vacation was cut short when they got news of Sarah’s father passing. She rushed home to her mother.

So John in his eagerness for knowledge inadvertently activated a relic on his son. He had to take him back to the jungle to have the curse removed. Here he explains to his desolate child what he’s going to do. John…I think you’re a little too excited about this!

So shortly after this is when I left my sims unattended because of a phone call. When I came back Kinley was already gone and John was next! I let the game steal my Bianca and that’s not happening again!

Hello everyone!! I see that a lot of you "oldies" to this challenge have come back and that makes me so happy! I've just updated everything in my game to get myself caught up. I haven't played in about a year on this challenge! How crazy is that?! Anyhow...I logged into my family (5th generation of Rebuild Willow Creek...I'm soooooo be hind!) And got this notification:
Now...for those of you who were with me at the beginning you MAY remember that Chris Hensley was one of my founders (among the 4 families I started with). Here is a photo of him and his wifey for reference:
Anyhow, Chris was an athlete. He reached level 10 before I stopped playing that first generation and went on to the next. He kept on living when others were dying off. Generation after generation he just kept going! But it seems his good health finally wore out and in GENERATION 5!!!!! of my playing he finally passed on. Had anyone else ever had a sim live this long?
Its so very awesome that so many veterans came back to play. I just had to say this. Sorry I'm not good with commenting lately. I do love seeing you all again. *leaves hugs*
@Hecktress17 It has been awhile! Yes shes going on 10 months soon! thank you for the congrats! I've not played much in Oasis, so i'm having heaps of fun with it! Is this world supposed to be based of Vegas? Because it totally reminds me of Vegas Brindleton Bay is cool, i recently was playing a family there until Get Famous came out and they moved to Del Sol, which is a great world too! The default skins i use can be found here and the eyes are here. Not sure if you noticed Tane has one green eye and one brown eye this is possible thanks to this downloadd ! Looking forward to seeing your posts!!

Chapter 3: Five is a crowd!
Warning: Bit of a large update as i've been playing heaps when bubs asleep!
With love day approaching, I decided to build an outdoor restaurant in Oasis Springs. It's literally called Jungle Oasis Restaurant. I've always wanted to build an outdoor restaurant but just never got around to it This is available for download in my gallery
Once Summer had finished working on Love day, Tane took her out for a meal at the new local restaurant. Before taking a seat, he gave her a single rose to represent his love. Funny enough, Summer then autonomously gave him one straight back! I'm not sure if it was the same rose
I've never seen this happen, and the below message popped up after - which I thought was totally cute!
The two love birds dug into their dinner and had a great night
I recently downloaded some custom food, this log cake was one - how cute is it?!
I like to do a snoop-around when sims are dining out, to see what other sims are up to and whom they are with. Looked like everyone was staying faithful this Love Day as all surrounding couples were with their significant other and not their maid or nanny's
Tane has improved his gardening skill and is now level 6, almost 7!
Summer has started Vlogging in hopes of getting her celebrity level up. I love watching her make video's, it just suits her personality 100%
When she's not filming, Summer is out and about collecting autographs and fan-girling over any celebrity she see's.
Summer recently got invited to join the Paragon's club and became good friends with Siobhan. Sib was pregnant with twins in this picture, the father being J Huntington III... despite her apparently not knowing him
Tane on the other hand met Marcus Flex at the gym and befriended him. Marcus invited Tane out for dinner and because both Sib and Marcus were single, Tane and Summer thought it would be a great idea to set them up!
The four of them had a great night, Summer spend the night talking up Marcus to Sib and the two really hit it off!
They ended up together by the end of the dinner, talk about moving fast
Later that night.. I just happend to see this sim walking past. I always like to check whom the baby daddy is with pregnant sims.. and low and behold.. the father of this baby looks like Mr.Flex has been busy himself..
Summer's career has been going well, but she's not moving as fast as I would like.. I'm considering having her move into the acting career to boost fame.. i also love the acting career. I'm going to stick it out for now though and see how she goes. She's recently been promoted to Lvl 4!
Whilst she was sketching on her Digital Sketchpad.. I noticed something.. and it became very evident to me that Tane and Summer were going to be very shocked in the near future..
Summer found out the next morning that she was pregnant! A Surprise for both of them! A nice surprise though! Tane was thrilled with the news. I wasn't planning on these two having a nooboo until their career was more developed but i'm super keen to see what kinda genetics their babies do have.
Tane got a promotion just in time for the nooboo. The two of them knew they would have to vacate their stater home as soon as the nooboo arrived, there was just simply not enough room for the (soon to be) three of them. He chose to go with the Botanist Branch and got a cowplant seed
Summer continued on with her fashion and beauty Vlogs, even throwing in some inspirational video's. Despite all her hard work, she still hasn't got a star
The pregnancy didn't stop Summer and Tane from having fun. They were still making the effort to go out and catch up with friends and their clubs.
The lovebirds also discovered some unbelievable news regarding their friends Marcus and Sib ~_~
Summer currently has a good reputation, but was willing to take a hit to it in order to get her friends back together.. so she did the unthinkable and suggested Sib should break up with Nina and get back with Marcus.. i'm dying to see how this pan's out >.>!
The three days of pregnancy flew by and before i knew it, Summer was in her third trimester, awaiting the nooboo's arrival! The two soon-to-be parents waiting in excitement
The day finally arrived! Tane took Summer to the hospital when her contractions were close, I think he was more panicked than she was
and just like that... they welcomed...
A baby boy named Kai..
and.. then.. shortly after.. a baby girl named Winter who originally was going to be called Autumn but i decided last minute I preferred Winter
Which didn't matter ANYWAY as another baby girl rolled out right after, Autumn LOL
It's very rare for my sims to simply have just one child!
Tane and Summer were completely smitten regardless of their three unplanned surprise nooboo's
However.. when they finally got home, Summer suggested that Tane get the 'snip' (aka a vasectomy). His reaction was priceless..
But to save any other future surprises.. he went along and did it. The three babies were enough for them, they were happy!
@Debjameswhite - Yes you are somewhat correct, the first home will be built from scratch and then as the generations go by updates will happen to it along with building homes around the neighborhood.
I love donuts too John ♥ It's always so sad when a dog passes away rest in love Shiloh. Poor John is going through a lot, first his dog now his parents. I am glad that he has a loving family to help him through. The new puppers are adorable though. Have you decided on an heir yet?
@Tellex - I do have the new EP! I have been enjoying it and all the cool things that have come with it. In another save I have a sim that is at the top of the acting career and making boatloads of money.
Oh my goodness the restaurant is so cool looking and very fitting with Oasis Springs. I love how sweet Tane and Summer are with each other, it's adorable! All the couples out and about, how cute! Victor and Lily are my favorites after I made friends with them in a save. Congrats to Tane on his promotion! @OJenn and @debjameswhite - I'm so confused. I originally moved my fixer upper couple into the largest home in Brindleton Bay, bulldozed it, and built a starter on the lot using only 20k. On the first page it says starter homes must be built from scratch? Then I read what you said Jenn about not bulldozing the house and only renovating. So I deleted that save, moved my couple into that same house and began renovations. Is that not correct? I'm sorry I don't understand. At this point I've done so much demolishing, building and redecorating that I'm just gonna keep playing with my current save that has my couple renovating the biggest house. Sorry if that's not correct, but I really just wanna get back into playing and posting and if I have to restart again I'll lose my mind lol

@debjameswhite - I'm glad you were able to quit without saving and save your sims. It's so nice to see Sarah and John at the Seafood Shack. It was so sad that Shiloh, both of Johns parents, and Sarah's Dad all passed away in the same update. The addition of the new puppies helps though. Aiden aged up nicely. He's quite handsome.
@Meeshelby - Hi! I can't believe it's been a year either, but it's so nice to see you. I hope you can get back to posting again soon. Oh and @debjameswhite has had sims that have lived unusually long too.
@Tellex - I'm not sure if Oasis is based on Vegas or not but both @JordanNicoleJJ and I agreed it was perfect for Vegas style lots. I did notice Tane's eyes. I love them. Thank you for the download links! I absolutely love your restaurant! I'm gonna download it asap. You did an amazing job. It's super cute that everyone in your game stayed faithful on love day lol omg Summer looks absolutely gorgeous in her vlogging video. She 100% deserves to be a star. The only thing though is having the same mates for all 3 of the extended versions. When I start again I don't want the same mates I just had. I'd be happy to do some work though and help search/create another batch of 5 and 10. Or even taking the favorites from different runs...Oh you know what would be fun...taking the founders of all the run throughs...Ok I'm just babbling right now.
I also noticed you said you lost your job. I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you find something you love soon. I work with flooring, if there are any International Design Guilds or Flooring Americas in your area I could put in a word for you if you're looking for a design or sales position and they have anything available.

I've gotten back into playing (loving Get Famous and Seasons!) but freelance playing just bores me, so i've decided to join this challenge again!
Seeings as I already did rebuild Willow Creek, I've decided to jump right ahead and into Oasis Springs, I've chosen to do a White & Islander founder couple.
Tane comes from a humble background. He never had a lot to his name but has always been happy with what he had. He originated from Selvadorada however moved to Oasis Springs when his family tragically died in a earthquake. He was the sole survivor.
Tate's dream is to become a Freelance Botanist and he is currently employed as a Dirt-Digger in the gardener career! He loves the outdoors, keeps active and is a romantic at heart.
Summer comes from a snobby, wealthy background. She did not inherit both her parents snobby trait but is Materialistic due to her wealthy upbringing.. Despite being materialistic, She doesn't mind that Tane doesn't have a huge paying job at the moment. In Fact Tane being a gardener, growing fruit and vegetables, really works for Summer as she is a Vegetarian.
She met Tane when the two were teenagers, after he had moved from Selvadorada as a refugee. Summers parents did not approve of Tane, they had dreams that she would marry a Doctor or successful businessman. They brushed the young relationship off in hopes it would phase out but when the younglings got engaged... and then married soon after... Summers parents disowned her.
Summer moved away from Newcrest after her parents stopped talking to her and she and Tane started a new life together in Oasis Springs. Her dreams were big, she aspired to be a World-Famous Celebrity one day. She figured it would be the only way to regain the fortune she had lost when her parents cut her off. She decided to start by joining a fashion influencer career, she had always had a keen eye for fashion anyway!
Tane and Summer are currently the only residents in Oasis Springs! They live in a starter home that I built and costed them a total of $18,795. It's far from what Summer is use to, but her happiness comes first. That's the beauty of a Cheerful sim!
Both Tane and Summer have agreed that before they start a little family of their own, they want to have a solid income.. so here is to working hard!

The twins explained how there year had been good and there well being and relationship, Well so to speak Pristine wasn't mentioning a few details due to her brother would explode to that new.
Alas, Pristine had few tricks up her sleeve waiting to unravel. Little brother has no idea what in store for him.
As visit came was drawing to an end to say goodbye. The twins reminisce to a time when they last saw their parents alive. nearly 15 years prior.
Pristine: "Love you, mother & father."
Prestion: "Love you, mother & father."
"Your not going to leave so soon are you now dears?" a eeirly sounding Female but familer voice said.
"Were happy You come to visit us every year my dear, My you have grown to be as beautiful as Your mother, my preacious daugther." Eerily sounding male voice said.
Pristine startled losing her balance to turn around quickly to see a ghostly figure of her father just as the last time she remembered him to be only this time he wasn't alive.
Preston startled and frigthen at first till he saw his mother.
Pristine: "Da..Daddy!? is that really You?"
Archimedes: " I've gottcha my little tomboy daugther, And who elsa, My precious darling."
Pristine: "it's really is You, You heard everything we said"
Archimedes: "Yes we did we my dear we heard everything."
Sonoja: "Well Your certanly not going keep me waiting are you? ..where's My Hug!"
Preston: ma..ma...MOMMY!!!
Pristine: "I've missed you daddy, I've done the best I can as you asked me to take care of Little brother to the best of my ablilities. As pristine hugs her father.
Archimedes: "You've done well my dear he grown into a Young fine man. A little on the soft side. but you have proctected him well. "
Sonoja: " There, there my darling baby boy Mommy right here. Oh how I've missed you, my preacious son, you grown so much last time I saw you just a tiny sprout now you've grown up to a handsome man."

I also like the idea of the new "fixer upper" option! I always was terrible at exteriors, so that may be just what I need. I can't wait for finals to be over so I can start playing again!
Has anyone gotten then new EP yet? If yes, how are you liking it? I'm kind of torn...it's my least favorite EP so far (we already have a big city world and I didn't care for the celebrity feature in Sims 3), but I want some outside opinions.

So not a lot has been happening since the introduction of Tane and Summer.. The two have just been slowly working on their careers and hobbies. Summer made an effort to go to Brindleton Bay and interview a few sims about fashion, to further her career. Don't mind her slightly judgy look.. I don't think J Huntington III's sweater was up to Summers standards.. and Brent Hecking's hairstyle.. perhaps a bit out of fashion at the moment!
Summer was in luck though, she ran into the famous Dirk Dreamer while she was out! (I love that they have taken OG sims and made them celebrities!) Although Dirk denied an autograph at first, she managed to score one the second time around!
and she got a selfie too!
Tane didn't mind Summer dragging him along to the park. He always enjoyed going outdoors and would take the opportunity to fish while she was off socialising and interviewing sims. On a plus side, the gardening and fishing skills go hand-in-hand alongside cooking.
ahhh yes... cooking.. which Tane had not quite got the hang of yet! But thankfully Summer was around to extinguish him when he decided to set himself on fire. He has managed to get to level 3 since this
The couples hard work has paid off as they both recently got promotions
and.. poor Summer got herself bit by an annoying Vampire ~_~ anyone know how to keep them away? Garlic plants perhaps? Or is there a garlic wreath that can be made?

@yunanesca - Hi!!! I'm really excited to be back. I've missed you all. You've come so far in your story. I was so sad for Pristine and Preston while they were talking to their parents urns. By the way gorgeous pictures! You paid such great attention to detail. I felt like I was watching a scene from a movie. I really loved the decorating and how the twins were styled. I wasn't expecting them to get to talk with their parents ghost. It was a really nice surprise.
@JordanNicoleJJ - Ah! You're posting again too!? It's like the gang's back together. I love it! I haven't gotten the new EP. @Tellex I never played Sims 1 or 2, so my only exposure to the celebrity stuff was Sims 3. Good to hear Get Famous is better than that...maybe I'll get it for myself for Christmas. How is the new world? Is it a full world like San Myshuno? I'm a little worried my laptop won't be able to handle another huge city, to be honest

The Riggs got new digs!
They simply outgrew the old house--Billie's expecting again!
Reed's excited to be a big brother!
Hunter's also excited to expand their little family, but this will be their last--they're getting older, and he doesn't want to be an elder when his kids are still in high school.
Billie decorated the sun room for Reed's birthday and invited over all their family and friends.
Unfortunately, Grandpa Sam has passed away, but Grandma Sawyer is doing well!
Reed loves his aunties!
Finally it was time to blow out the candles! He aged up with the Whiz Kid aspiration and the Genius trait.
As soon as the party was over, Reed got to open his present...

Hunter loves sharing his favorite hobby with his son
With Reed being a little older, Hunter and Billie were able to celebrate Love Day with a romantic stroll through town, roses, and gourmet coffee.
Hunter planned to surprise Billie with a romantic evening as well, but they were both surprised when Billie's water broke at the coffee shop! Despite that craziness, it was a lovely Love Day.
And when it comes to newborns, there's always enough love to go around. Everyone, meet River Riggs!
If we can collectively come up with new people for each of the challenges I'd appreciate it. That's how we came up with the initial ones and I really loved doing that and having everyone involved. (Gen 2 and 3 for Willow Creek have been redone)

I love the way Summer is looking at her interviewee. Very intense! I'm so excited to see parts from the new pack. Even though I have it installed I've been avoiding it since I'm right at the end of my challenge. Although John has gotten some archaeology fame and I saw someone walking by who glowed hehe.
Oh I haven't had anyone catch fire cooking for so long! <knocks on wood> It gave me a fun nostalgic feeling!! Ohhhh...the vampires...poor Summer. I delete them...
@Heckstress17 I think your mixing an idea I had with the fixer upper challenge which does actually pull in some of my ideas. I think for the fixer upper challenge you move into the biggest house to start and that's your base. You don't delete the house, you redecorate it and you can add on if you want but don't tear down any of the original walls. Then each generation fixes up a new house but ends up back in the starting home...is that right @OJenn ? EDIT: I was wrong! It says the founder home is built from scratch. Love that idea! Then I guess you fix the other ones up

Chapter 88: Puppies
Their love is still strong.
So is John’s love for donuts.
At home, at one of Sarah’s parties, her mom Jasmine’s pregnancy was a little uncomfortable.
There is a lot of love at these parties!
That was good because they lost Shiloh right afterwards.
Funny, the parents and kids always sit at opposite ends of the table.
Death was in the air I guess, John got news that both of his parents had passed away.
His big brother was there to help him feel better.
They went to the family grave site.
A couple of puppies came over to see about adoption…they were only supposed to adopt one but they took both of these little girls into their home. Mallory and Luna.
Sarah and John find lots of little places to escape for couple time.

Aiden is the youngest…so at this point all the children have become teens.
John decided to take the family to the jungle just like Grandpa Brennan had taken him so many times. Aiden did his homework right away. I’m pretty happy with him as the heir.
John gave a lecture on archaeology.
This guy is definitely a distant relative.
This is one of my close families, and I love them.
They should never have allowed Aiden to jogging on his own…
Aiden is also a dog lover like his Dad. Just like his Dad found a stray in the jungle, so did Aiden.

Sadly, vacation was cut short when they got news of Sarah’s father passing. She rushed home to her mother.

So John in his eagerness for knowledge inadvertently activated a relic on his son. He had to take him back to the jungle to have the curse removed. Here he explains to his desolate child what he’s going to do. John…I think you’re a little too excited about this!
It worked!
So shortly after this is when I left my sims unattended because of a phone call. When I came back Kinley was already gone and John was next! I let the game steal my Bianca and that’s not happening again!
Growing up as a dog lover, friend of animals and a father who’s a vet leads to an inevitable end…Sweet Mallory was his first patient.
Either she totally approves, or she’s wondering if he’s qualified…
John is definitely feeling blessed by his family.
Now...for those of you who were with me at the beginning you MAY remember that Chris Hensley was one of my founders (among the 4 families I started with). Here is a photo of him and his wifey for reference:
Anyhow, Chris was an athlete. He reached level 10 before I stopped playing that first generation and went on to the next. He kept on living when others were dying off. Generation after generation he just kept going! But it seems his good health finally wore out and in GENERATION 5!!!!! of my playing he finally passed on. Had anyone else ever had a sim live this long?

With love day approaching, I decided to build an outdoor restaurant in Oasis Springs. It's literally called Jungle Oasis Restaurant. I've always wanted to build an outdoor restaurant but just never got around to it
Once Summer had finished working on Love day, Tane took her out for a meal at the new local restaurant. Before taking a seat, he gave her a single rose to represent his love. Funny enough, Summer then autonomously gave him one straight back! I'm not sure if it was the same rose
I've never seen this happen, and the below message popped up after - which I thought was totally cute!
The two love birds dug into their dinner and had a great night
I recently downloaded some custom food, this log cake was one - how cute is it?!
I like to do a snoop-around when sims are dining out, to see what other sims are up to and whom they are with. Looked like everyone was staying faithful this Love Day as all surrounding couples were with their significant other and not their maid or nanny's
Tane has improved his gardening skill and is now level 6, almost 7!
Summer has started Vlogging in hopes of getting her celebrity level up. I love watching her make video's, it just suits her personality 100%
When she's not filming, Summer is out and about collecting autographs and fan-girling over any celebrity she see's.
Summer recently got invited to join the Paragon's club and became good friends with Siobhan. Sib was pregnant with twins in this picture, the father being J Huntington III... despite her apparently not knowing him
Tane on the other hand met Marcus Flex at the gym and befriended him. Marcus invited Tane out for dinner and because both Sib and Marcus were single, Tane and Summer thought it would be a great idea to set them up!
The four of them had a great night, Summer spend the night talking up Marcus to Sib and the two really hit it off!
They ended up together by the end of the dinner, talk about moving fast
Later that night.. I just happend to see this sim walking past. I always like to check whom the baby daddy is with pregnant sims.. and low and behold.. the father of this baby
Summer's career has been going well, but she's not moving as fast as I would like.. I'm considering having her move into the acting career to boost fame.. i also love the acting career. I'm going to stick it out for now though and see how she goes. She's recently been promoted to Lvl 4!
Whilst she was sketching on her Digital Sketchpad.. I noticed something.. and it became very evident to me that Tane and Summer were going to be very shocked in the near future..
Summer found out the next morning that she was pregnant! A Surprise for both of them! A nice surprise though! Tane was thrilled with the news. I wasn't planning on these two having a nooboo until their career was more developed but i'm super keen to see what kinda genetics their babies do have.
Tane got a promotion just in time for the nooboo. The two of them knew they would have to vacate their stater home as soon as the nooboo arrived, there was just simply not enough room for the (soon to be) three of them. He chose to go with the Botanist Branch and got a cowplant seed
Summer continued on with her fashion and beauty Vlogs, even throwing in some inspirational video's. Despite all her hard work, she still hasn't got a star
The pregnancy didn't stop Summer and Tane from having fun. They were still making the effort to go out and catch up with friends and their clubs.
The lovebirds also discovered some unbelievable news regarding their friends Marcus and Sib ~_~
Summer currently has a good reputation, but was willing to take a hit to it in order to get her friends back together.. so she did the unthinkable and suggested Sib should break up with Nina and get back with Marcus.. i'm dying to see how this pan's out >.>!
The three days of pregnancy flew by and before i knew it, Summer was in her third trimester, awaiting the nooboo's arrival! The two soon-to-be parents waiting in excitement
The day finally arrived! Tane took Summer to the hospital when her contractions were close, I think he was more panicked than she was
and just like that... they welcomed...
A baby boy named Kai..
and.. then.. shortly after.. a baby girl named Winter
Which didn't matter ANYWAY as another baby girl rolled out right after, Autumn LOL
It's very rare for my sims to simply have just one child!
Tane and Summer were completely smitten regardless of their three unplanned surprise nooboo's
However.. when they finally got home, Summer suggested that Tane get the 'snip' (aka a vasectomy). His reaction was priceless..
But to save any other future surprises.. he went along and did it. The three babies were enough for them, they were happy!
