Finished world, spawn questions

I have been working on a world over the many years since create a world came out. And I would like to finally finish it and share it with the world. But When my sim comes back from university they spawn all the way off in the corner of the map where I have an unusable island. It ends up taking them like a sim day to get back home. Is there a way to set the spawn spots in caw when returning from university, vacation ect?

If its unusable why don't you just put sim nonrouting paint over it? That ought to keep them from spawning there
