@ciane I've been so busy (had the garden re-landscaped) so I'm sorry that this comment is so late...I really liked Lilah starting over on a deserted island of her own. And the house and greenhouse were lovely: the colours in the house just blended so well with the outdoor scenery. Hope you're doing well and that the weather's a bit cooler for you now!
Yes. I think the triple digits are over for the year. It's still in the high 90s, but that's not so bad. AND, we got some rain yesterday, though it would have gone unnoticed if I hadn't stepped outside just in time to see some drops.
I hope you enjoyed your trip and that you've got your house just the way you want it for now.
I've pointed a few s4 simmers this way with the suggestion that they try the challenge in s4.
I think all of the rules work fine I'm just trying to remember if there's a good trait with the option for making donations at the mailbox. I guess I'll have to give it a go and check.

That sounds like fun - let me know if it works out I don't have sims 4 so I couldn't do that, but you'll be perfect at it
Well...the garden is almost sorted - I just need it to Stop Raining for a few days so that I can finish off the last of the weeding and put some poppy seeds in for the spring. We have had such a wet October
The extension is finished and decorated, and today I'm painting the second of the bookcases that my husband has made, to go on top of the cupboard he's made (already painted that! It's now full of jigsaws - one side, with double doors - and board games on the other half.) So there's two bookcases to go on top of it: one single one would be too big to lift! - which will give me about another 30 to 35 feet of bookshelf space by the time you add all the shelves up. That's a lot of painting though! Especially as I need to paint under each shelf as well as on top of it - and round the sides. I just ran out of paint and had to go buy some more.
And in between, I got all inspired to tidy out some cupboards, and sort through the books that are going to go on those shelves, and we had to clear up the garage big time after the garden guys had been (stone dust everywhere from them cutting the stone for the paving) before he could carry on with the bookshelves...plus we fitted in a couple of weeks away at different times. I'm beginning to see where my time has gone now I'm writing to you.
I'm just off to finishe that first coat of paint - hope you have a lovely week and the weather is kind to you

And I've managed to do some gardening and bookcase painting as well - amazing!
Wow I've never seen that happen before, the game still surprises me after 10 years.
