Constant "Starting New Phase" Interaction

Whenever my sim starts a new phase, that "starting a new phase" action in his queue will keep on coming up, overpowering any action I had him doing at the time. I tried to repair my game, go back a save, etc. etc. but nothing worked. Whenever he went through a new phase, the above problem would happen. I honestly can't figure out how to fix this.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

Awesome, thank you! And once I've done all that, do I delete the sims 4 folder that's on my desktop?

Yes, you can delete the sims 4 folder that is on the desktop after you have copied those folders into the new sims 4 folder. But don't delete it until you have gone ingame and checked and tested that your game is still running okay.
