It was so cool that the clocks actually kept game time in TS3, very immersive. I also loved the bug where the doors would be open occasionally. There's just something about an open door...I never imagined I'd be sad that they fixed something.
@Sid1701D9, I think if you make a Club with a requirement of Teen, or Child Age Group, you will be able to see all the Teens or Children in the game when you choose the Members, but I could be mis-remembering.
Yes, but the clubs you use the least keep deleting themselves from the game. Also you can only have 8 teenagers or children in the clubs and sometimes there is more than eight of each in the game, and eventually the 8 teenagers and children will be gone and so will the club, especially If you have no active sims in the club.

3. An option for a Writer to write Toddler Books for toddlers to read.
4. A true diving board for a pool, not a jumping platform.
5. The ability to create a custom icon to be used for a club. My UnDead club had to use the Skull and Crossbones since Fangs weren't an option.
Scratch my earlier post about wishing we could praise/encourage kids when they behave well because one of my kids just had the option so it's already a thing xD
Other small features I'd like are things like with the photo collages in build mode it'd be nice if you could actually put pictures of your sims in them. They make a really nice touch to family houses but it always feels weird when you've hung pictures of other sims up.
All the above. BUG FIXING, opacity slider for the various types of leggings/hose, colour wheel, Sims2 style traits where you have ranges from 0 to 10 rather than the current all or nothing, turn ons/offs relating to sim attraction, more and better sim to sim interactions, in the gender tinkering part of CAS 'both/either' among the pregnancy options (hermaphrodites as in Greeco/Roman mythology).

I had a town with 20+ people from the same family with the same last name, but would only see a few from that family with he clubs. So, it seems to me as if you only get a small sample size your sim can know unless you specifically send them to another sims house to get to know them.
I would like to see more interactions with the sims. Like I would like to see them have "likes" and "dislikes" like in previous sims games. Like my sim loves pancakes but hates fish tacos or something like that. Or maybe a preference when it comes to love. Like if my sim likes a good sense of humor and dark eyes, but dislikes snobs or something. I miss the compatibility the sims used to have and how you know they aren't attracted to that sim. Also like if they have a gender preference I would like to see something like that. I remember when playing sims 2 you can ask what that sim was interested in and if they walked by a sim they found attractive they would get a moodlet. I love the sims4 but there's a lot of little things I miss.

13. 'Up' hairstyles to have their own category in CAS, rather than being classified as short hair;
14. A mix of painted and papered walls with chair and picture rails as well as skirtings and cornices (we had a good variety of these in Sims 3, but none in Sims 4);

Another thing that I'd like that I've only really noticed now that I'm playing a legacy is I'd like if you automatically knew family members and their partners. I'm trying to throw a wedding but my sim hasn't met her girlfriend's mother so she won't be invited. I even had to introduce her to her nephew who she lives with who has just aged to a toddler. Her sister's fiance won't be coming either. I wanted them all to come.
I would like more toddler hair styles and more toddler outfits/clothing and more cooking resapes and more careers like teacher and daycare worker/pervider and I agree about the swig set id like one of those to added to the sims4
1. Ability to track down the butler. Especially in a big house and I need him, I can't find him anywhere! I spend a good five minutes to find him.
2. The butler will go to sleep if everyone on the lot is asleep. It's annoying that he is awake all night so the time will not go fast enough. My workaround for this is to use the piper trait and make the butler very tired, but it's annoying to keep doing this.
3. Categories when you pick a book in a bookshelf. It's there when you buy books, why not when just reading owned books?
4. Customizable age spans.
5. Ability for a doctor sim to check on a sick household member and give him/her medicine.
6. Ability to watch the current channel if the tv is already on.
7. Having parties or club gatherings at generic lots
8. More voices. I know, I know budget... Maybe at least accents?
9. Ability to hold a funeral if a sim dies.
10. Speaking of social events, maybe choosing what kind of birthday? I mean, bring a toast when the birthday sim is a toddler is no go, so no gold for me.
11. Ability for children to hold their toddler siblings. I mean, if they can carry a heavy bowling ball I guess they can carry a 20 pound toddler.
